If you like your waste, then use Texas Waste because they never show up to pick up your trash. A lot of excuses when they answer the telephone, which is not too often. Lousy Service I recommend you use some other company. Unfortunatley the lowest rating here is a one star but I think they don't deserve any stars. more

I have called and complained to TWS several times about not having my trash picked up on the scheduled date, which is Mondays. They lie and say it will be picked up the next day, and then the next, and then the next... They will not come up until the next schedule pick up which is the following Monday. So trash bins are waiting on the front sidewalk up and down the street stinking up the neighborhood, overflowing with trash and does TWS even care...no way Jose. Remember, they're picking it up ""tomorrow."" If you want to be frustrated at least once a month with this business, then have them pick up your trash ""tomorrow!"" If I could have given this business no stars, that is what they would have been rated. A big fat nothing. Pros: NONE!!!! Cons: The rudest customer service I have ever experienced!!!!! more

Our service was to begin on a Tuesday - they did not come. I called that night and they said they were running behind and the driver would be there Weds (they said this is always the case if it's not picked up on the scheduled day it WILL be picked up on the next day). Weds - no pick up. Called : ""the driver did not have his computer with him and could not find your house - we will pick up tomorrow for sure"" Thurs - no pick up: ""we have no idea why they did not come on Tues, they are out in your area right now they will pick up before the end of the day"" Friday: no pickup.....\r \r I called and asked for my refund. Was told 4-6 weeks also, as it was coming from corporate office out of state. I asked for their number and she would not give it to me. Hoping to see a check in 4-6 weeks, but not holding my breath. I will follow up though and not let them get away with this. Ridiculous! Cons: rude customer service, no apologies, lots of excuses - NO TRASH PICKUP more

If your want your garbage NOT to be picked up Texas Waste System is the one for the job! Try being a new customer and never having your garbage picked up but once in a month even when you pay 3 months in advance. Local administrators promised that they would be out that day ""even in a pick up truck if they had to"" to pick up our trash but they never showed. They do not even have the respect to treat you with a little customer sevice. When I canceled my service and demanded my money back TWS administrators retort was that it was going to take 4 may be even 6 weeks before I saw any or part of my money back because it had to come from their corporate offices in Rock Island, IL. So what now, out of money and yard full of stinky trash that I can not burn. I searched and searched all around for another company to help me with my little garbage collection problem and their are no companies in my area. TXS is the only one that will service this area. So it seems to me that TWS is just taking advantage of this situation and saying."" Oh well it ok to take good hard working people's money and provideing no service."" I was amazed that even after I had called them MULTIPLE time they still never showed up! I heard that old song about being backed up. Yeah, sure, 2 weeks in a ROW!! We pay them monthly to come out and pick up our dumpster, once a week, and they have only picked it up TWICE!! I guess they are tired of working!! Pros: NONE! Cons: Name it! more

When they say they will pick up the container, they dont. They are not answering the phones, I'm stuck with a container full of constrution trash in my front yard. Very frustrating. This has been going on for weeks. What can we do? more

When the garbage pickup day is Monday and your garbage is still in front of your home on Friday... this is no way to treat your customers! A phone call on Thursday brought assurance that the garbage would be picked up on Friday. Well... it is still here. After promising the trash would be collected today, they should have bent over backwards to do so- even if it meant overtime work. This has been a repeated occurance! Time for new a garbage service. more
