We came across Tex Painting on citysearch.com last month- we called them for a free estimate to paint the interior of our home. We then talked to our neighbors and they happened to refer Tex Painting company too! We are so happy with the new paint job we received. The crew was polite and the owner was very nice. Thanks! more

Tex Painting came out and did a bid on an interior painting job we wanted done. Confirmed date of the job, but contractor never showed. Owner of the company didn't even know where he was or his schedule. Eventually we found that the contractor had been robbed. It's an unfortunate situation, but the fact that we hadn't heard from him for the entire day until the late evening left us with a bad impression. We decided to give the company one more chance - the contractor said he could come out the next day and do the job in 1 day. We went over the details on the phone and confirmed. He came out the next day, but then told me it would take 2 days instead of one. We understand that jobs can go a bit long, but we didn't want to be left in a situation where the contractor may not come back out after the first day. We decided not to allow him to do the job and parted ways. more

The main reasons I recommend Tex Painting are the quality of Scott's character and his follow-through. I think he cares about what he does and he is a hard worker. He responded well to my needs as a homeowner, which included care of landscaping, adding a third color to the job, and coming back for touch-up work. more

My husband and I were looking for a company to paint mom's house. Of utmost importance to us was finding a company that would provide quality work while giving us peace of mind from 400 miles away. This is what we found with Tex Painting. From my first conversation with Scott I knew we were in good hands. He was sensitive to the needs of dealing with our 84 year old mother and made the experience a positive one for all of us. He provided us daily updates which included pictures of the work in progress and started and finished the work within the timeline he proposed. We highly recommend Scott and his company for all your painting needs. more

I recommend them!!! 10/30/2011

I hired Scott and his team to do a last minute paint job for the bathroom and bedroom in my new apartment. I wanted it done before I moved my stuff in so I had a small window to work with. Not only did Scott come over to do a thorough and fair estimate, but he squeezed my job in on a Sunday. They are very busy in the summer with exterior paint jobs, but he was so great about making sure the work was completed when I wanted it. I told him the color I wanted and he went out and bought the paints for me from his vendor which helps him keep the cost down. It would have been much more expensive had I purchased the paint myself. I was away for the weekend so I left him my keys. When I got back I was greeted by a beautifully painted, clean and professional finished product. Not only do I recommend Tex Painting, I look forward to using them again in the future for my own projects. more

We got way more than our money's worth 9/22/2011

I interviewed 8 painting contractors before finding Tex Painting; I'm very glad I didn't hire any of the others. Our very old home was literally falling apart.nial and very clean. Very importantly, he gave me a fixed estimate -- not time and materials and ""let's see what happens"" like some of the others. The team worked tirelessly on our house and it shows.I highly recommend Tex Painting -- we got way more than our money's worth! more

Great Interior Painting Job! 9/15/2011

Tex Painting was recommended to us by some friends who we trust. We called and got a very fair estimate, and the crew came out and painted the interior of our home the following week. Very friendly group of guys who did a great job... very professional. We'd certainly use them again. We know who we'll call when we have the outside of our home painted in a couple years. more

Huge MISTAKE hiring them! here's the deal... 2 bedrooms, same color walls and trim with one single color accent wall, flat and semi gloss respectively. carpet is going so no worries about getting it dirty- piece of cake right? then why am i doing touch-up after their third attempt at making it right?! owner unprofessional and doesn't seem to know the difference between service and lip-service, and a crappy paint job. after they ( and the owner was part of the crew) touched up a flat wall with semi gloss paint i abandoned all hope of getting what i paid for. if you want the switchplates removed and painted under, paint cleanup done outdoors, walls fully covered by paint- call someone else! more
