If you live near this laundromat and dont mind looking for street parking, walking, taking septa bus, or using a taxi to and from it, it's a great place. The staff is very welcoming and everything works smoothly... from the change machines to the washers to the dryers. Theres plenty of space to fold clothes after they're done drying, and it was easy to go online on my laptop while i was there. This laundromat really is the best! Most important is the fact that all the machines are new and actually clean your clothes. It has a great vibe - it's very bright and colorful- the offer free wireless internet, magazines, books inside and outside seating. There is an attendant there at all times and they play good music. They have art shows every 2 months and the art hangs on the wall for the entire 2 months. There is also great pizza right down the block at 'slice' - you have to check out this laundromat and show some local south Philly love - oh yea.. they have discount days on tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays. happy cleaning! Actually, it may be the sexiest laundromat in all of Philly, period. You see, it is brightly painted, always clean (I don't get slopped up with old soap when I open the detergent dispenser compartments), and even has art shows of up-and-coming artists! The people who work there are always pleasant, helpful, and friendly and they often have disocunt days on the smaller washers. Normally a load of laundry is $2.50 and on discount days it is $1.50. It is the first laundromat where I ever felt at ease just sitting around, chatting, waiting for my laundry to wash and dry. According to some it is a bit pricier than other laudromats, but to me, the bright atmosphere, cleanliness, and good hours (7AM to 10 PM with last wash at 8:30) makes it worth the extra quarters.
