I was working thursday and you were NOT there!\r
\r
Well.. This is obvious a marketing blurb from someone who has NOT been in the taverna opa.. at Dolphin Mall\r
\r
first half of the things you listed ..are NOT on the menu in the Dolphin mall. We started with an opening menu..\r
\r
There is NO lasagna, no souvlaki, no greek paella (what is that anyhow??), no athenian scampi, no lemon chix..\r
\r
and the head chef is named Rich (hardly from Athens) and john…\r
\r
and these fotos look nothing like the food served there..\r
\r
and there is only one belly dancer… quite cute but not trained too well and she always starts the dance with 3 or 4 ..1$ bills strategically placed from her vestry..\r
\r
Sadly, it most likely will be a flop. The food is good, i highly recommend the Greek Salad, but that should be an easy score from a "Greek" restaurant owned by a Chinese guy (with a VERY bad sense of humour and corny jokes), greek guy, and north american "american dad" looking guy…..\r
\r
DO NOT go for the Family platters, very small portions, weak delivery timing..\r
\r
Drinks way too expensive.. 9$ martinis.. I suggest trying blue martini instead as you will save on the commute.\r
\r
I think your best bet would be to simply eat a Buffalo wings or the other bars in Dolphin Mall and watch the non-greek waiters dance (speaking spanish) and lonely belly dancer flopping around with her propped up $$ bills..\r
\r
2 stars… (I quit)
