Synergy Gas

Used this company for 2 years and finally made the switch to a different company. Had nothing but horrible customer service from this company. The people who answer the main phone line are unprofessional and downright obnoxious. I had broken gauges on all three of my propane tanks and they refused to replace or repair them. Their solution was to sign up for the automatic fill plan - I assume so that they could fill you every time the prices peaked and justify charging you top dollar. Every time I filled up I would call around to local competitors and Synergy's prices were consistently 20-30% above the competition. I went with Dixon in Mountain Lakes and the people there have been wonderful so far. One of the guys who installed the new tanks said he used to work for Synergy and heard nothing but complaints from the customers. Like me, I guess he got fed up and went elsewhere too! more

I wish I had found the previous reviewer's prior to obtaining gas from this company. He is correct that the woman who is the office is obnoxious, her name is Alicia. She has no customer service skills. In essence, they screwed up my bill, and I had to pay for their mistake. I had called to make a payement because I realized they have not charged my credit card. I was reassured that they have my credit card on file and it automatically charges at the end of the month. To my surprise, I received a statement with the late charge on it. I called and they said they had no record that I called....so how did I know they were going to charge me at the end of the month??? I was only about $8 fee but I am talking about principle and that Alicia was very nasty like she does not want any customers. This company has fair gas prices but that's about the only thing I have nice to say about them. Every time I called for assistance I get a nasty woman on the phone who takes joy in making people's lives miserable. It's as if they don't want your business or just don't care if you do business with them or not. Completely not satisfied with the customer service aspect and even with the decent price of gas they have its not worth the aggravation. I'm buying my tank from them so I can do business elsewhere. As for the woman who answers the phones, she has no reason to be obnoxious with people. Pros: Fair gas prices Cons: Lousy customer services and takes a long time for delivery. more
