Sushi Moto

The sushi is excellent! The pieces of fish on the Nigiri are huge, about twice the size of anywhere else and extremely fresh. Their special rolls and house rolls are extremely original. Like the special roll the last time I was in, was made with a spinach tempura coating! We have had a couple of their dishes also, the Pork Tonkatsu was excellent. Their Bulgogi wasn't the best. The owner is usually in house and is extremely friendly! In fact, they treat us like family and spend time to get to know us every time we are in. They are wonderful to our children, who absolutely love to go there (5 and 7). My wife and I have eaten Sushi all over the country, and Sushi Moto is one of the best. its the only place i have ever been to that the quality of service, selection of sushi and korean bbq was this amazing. The Kalbi or bbq beef rib tips boneless, are the best i have ever had. Sake is ok make sure u follow those rules for drinkin it though. I drive from detroit metro airport area 86 miles to lansing just for this place. I cannot find anywhere else that replicates the experience. so enjoy it if your close. more

Very enjoyable atmosphere. Wait staff was very friendly. I've taken two dates there, and both enjoyed it. Great selection and quality. The sake isn't the best I've had, but good.
