For instance, instead of making them stand in rows and columns, as is done in a typical adult-yoga-batch, the teachers spread the children through the class and take them through a village daily life routine, such as first waking up in the morning, fetching water from the well, cleaning the home, cooking, etc., where in all the postures are done. more

I love Yoga! I had never taken any yoga classes before in my life. When I started at Sunstone I didn't realize how much I would enjoy it not to mention the positive changes in my body. I've lost 13 pounds since I started in late December. The inches just melt away. It's been a wonderful experience for me this is the best work out I've ever experienced. Hot yoga is the most incredible workout! I used to run 4-5 days a week until I had to have knee surgery. Then I started using the eliptical machine and weights. I never really saw that much of a difference in my body. Two summers ago a friend introduced me to Sunstone Yoga in Plano. I really liked it, but it was to far to drive to Plano. I was so excited to learn that Sunstone had opened a club here in Rockwall. Every instructor at Sunstone is of exceptional quality and wants you to be success in your practice.. They are helpful and create an energy that is contagious. The facility is top notch! It truly has changed my life and I am so thankful Sunstone is in Rockwall. I was able to cancel my knee surgery since doing yoga three to four days a week. Hot oga for Life is my new motto! more

Everyone should try Sunstone Yoga, its a fitness based Yoga! They have different types of classes and being a man, I have really enjoyed the Metal (Power Yoga - that helps you build strength) class with the Fire (helps you stretch and lengthen your muscles) class to compliment. I workout in the gym and run quite a bit and I have got to say, that Yoga has really helped me in all areas of my life. They also provide towels and mat so I don?t have to carry these with me. \r Another great thing about Sunstone Yoga - Rockwall is the facilities. They have an excellent bathroom with showers (provided with soap, shampoo, towels, even a hair dryer if you need one) which allows me to workout before work or during my lunch hour and quickly get to where I need to be.\r \r Pros: Flexible class times, clean facility, and excellent instructors Cons: Nothing more

I was a first year teacher when I began at Sunstone Yoga. Needless to say, I was stressed and rarely spent time on myself. I heard about Sunstone Yoga so I tried it out and it has changed so many aspects of my life. I have more energy, I crave foods that are good for me, I have lost 12 pounds, and built so much core strength. Sunstone Yoga is fantastic!!!!!! The instructors are great, giving personal attention during each class to obtain correct technique as well as benefit. I lost 4 inches during my 10 classes for $10.00 trial period!! Best 10.00 I have invested to date!!!!! I also have received health benefits specifically my knees, in the first 2 weeks that I haven't had results with in over 30 years of physical therapy and weight training. The facilities and class availability are wonderful. I plan all my days off around my yoga classes as my work schedule won't permit attending class on work days. Sunstone Yoga has a great concept. Hot yoga is an invigorating and healthy way to relax your mind and improve your physical conditioning. The Rockwall studio is great. Wonderful instructors, very clean facilities and great members. Classes are well attended, but not crowded. Classes range from traditional yoga to fitness oriented ""power yoga"". Instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. The Rockwall studio has a good selection of classes throughout the day. If you have ever been interested in learning yoga or just improving your physical fitness, the Rockwall Sunstone Yoga studio is a great place. Pros: Incredible teachers more

I went there not knowing what to expect. The teachers and owners were extremely friendly. They all cared about my well being. They know Everybody's first name. Sunstone Yoga Rockwall provides free towels and mat. There is an awesome selection of yoga classes, and the health and fitness aspect is for any body type, experience, and age!! I eagerly awaited the opening of this yoga studio. The staff is very personable, knowlegeable, and energetic. The facility is clean, and well maintained. My yoga practice is progressing very well. I had worked out with weights for 20 yrs and was kind of burned out on the whole thing. I had previously done Iyengar Yoga for about 2 years and while it offered all of the great benefits of yoga, it didn't offer the same kind of workout benefits that I would like to experience.\r Once I started going to Sunstone in Rockwall, it became apparent really quickly that at Sunstone Rockwall, you got the best of both worlds - the mental and personal benefits and challenges that regular yoga offers along with an incredible physical workout. Once I started going to Sunstone, I replaced all of my other exercise routines with my Sunstone Rockwall practice.\r I've also found that Sunstone offers a great amount of instruction and practice on the ""yoga-side"" of things, which I like. You just have to try out different classes in rockwall and teachers to find out about it. It?s not just about sweating.\r Another great benefit is since I started going to Sunstone, I went from about 210 lbs to 190 lbs, where I've stayed for the past two years.
