Recommend highly. Rich Giglio came out and gave an estimate of time, number of crew needed, fees and the crew kept to it; no overtime, no gouging for additional monies. Very professional, crew captain amazing with strategy for a very difficult and complicated move - he made it happen within required time and money and they were careful with many items that had to be hand-carried and cumbersome antiques and heavy library book boxes - all with good humor and grace. If ever there was a test-case for complicated move, this was it - they passed with flying colors - would recommend talking to Rich, he knew exactly who to assign and the timing. I appreciate the crew for making a difficult day easier. more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UNPROFESSIONAL MOVERS AND STAFF. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Please note, this is a company owned by Buehler. At first, I refrained from writing such a negative review since at the end of the day, most of what I needed was moved and nothing was broken. But, after signing off on the paper work for a certain amount, I was charged extra without being notified. more

They have always provided the service we need. 3/23/2011

We have actually used Student Movers for a little over 15 years now. We have always had good results with them. We have not had any major issues with them whatsoever. If any small problems come up, they always solve them. We are a design firm, so we use them a little differently than most people. We do full installations in houses, so we haven't experienced their service in terms of packing and moving. more

Student Movers is a "can do" business! 3/18/2011

I have been using Student Movers for about fifteen to twenty years now. I keep using their services because they perform so well. This company truly bends over backwards to make sure that everything is right with their customers. They are honest and responsible. If there ever are any issues, which if there are they are few far and in-between, they are so fast to fix them for you, no questions asked. This really is a customer-driven business. I highly recommend them! more

Great moving experience 9/24/2010

I helped my sister move and she selected Student Movers to transport her belongings. They were on time, friendly, outgoing, and very polite. They moved quickly, and helped her arrange her furniture at her new place! They even remembered something and came back to make one last move for her so she wouldn't have to do it! more

Outstanding Move by Student Movers 7/11/2010

We are career military, and this was our 19th move in 30 years. Throughout our career, the military provided excellent movers, who were paid top dollar for our moves, and in general, they went well. I retired recently, and this was the first move that we had to pay for on our own, and we were concerned. We got quotes from several companies, and ended up going with Student Movers of Denver. We worked with Rich the estimator, and Rich sent out a top notch team lead by Mike Reilly. I don't exaggerate when I say that Mike and his team are the best we have had in 30 years of moving. They were very smart, very efficient, strong, very honest, and provided the best move we have had, period, dot. The key, in my opinion, is that they hire college students during their summer break (but not just local summer breaks, as our team was from Europe), NOT convicts out on parole. Student Movers of Denver earned my strongest personal recommendation.... they are awesome, and the best in the business that I have ever seen in 30 plus years of hard moves. It is never easy to move, but these guys really rocked! Who knows what kind of experience we might have had with other local movers, but I seriously doubt it could have been any better. Student Movers 4/28/2010

Student Movers has delivered and picked up expensive furniture, rugs, etc. at the home that I manage. They always call before coming, arrive on time, handle all pieces carefully and conduct themselves with high professionalism. I will use them personally when I relocate soon. A Great Experience 2/21/2010

We recently sold our townhouse in Cherry Creek and put most of our possesions in storage, but needed to take to enough with us to our our furnished rental in Denver that would have required many many trips in our SUV and more time than we had. Bad moving experience 12/29/2009

We hired Student Movers to pack ABF U-pack trailers for a move from Denver to Atlanta and partially pack the remaider of our household goods into boxes for the move. They did a good job packing up the household goods into boxes, but did a horrible job of packing the trailers for the move. When the trailers were unloaded at our Atlanta house many items were damaged due to poor loading of the truck. Our formal dining room table legs were shattered due to Student Movers loading boxes on top of the table and our couch was torn and damaged since they did not cover it with furniture pads. We hired another company in Atlanta to unload the trailers and they said it was the worst loading of a trailer they had ever seen by another company. When we contacted Student Movers for just the base coverage on the broken and damaged goods they would not even pay the base insurance coverage provided with the move. I would never recommend this company even to my worst enemy! more

I don't see my change back!!! 9/8/2009

We used them for moving into our new house two month ago. I told them our apartment were small and we were gonna move a lot of the small things by ourselves. We did 6 car loads on our own so that we could save because we are house poor. Nonetheless, on the day of our move, they sent in a huge truck. Our stuff filled less than 1/3 of that truck. Packing took 1.5 hours. It took another 45 to 60 minutes to drive up to the north. Then unloading is another hour. By the time they are done, the bill was 480, which was not bad for professional movers, I guess. I made another mistake that I didn't feel comfortable pre-authorizing an unknown amount on my credit card the day before the move, so I told the dispatcher that I would pay cash. I gave them five 100-dollar bills. The movers took for granted that the change would be their tips. They didn't bother to give me any change back. When I finally asked, they simply said, they didn't carry any change. Man, that was some sense of entitlement. In this economy, we are hurting, too! Not just you! I called their company office right away. The guy promised they would cut me a check. Till today I don't see nothing in my mailbox. Pros: Professional movers Cons: Method of payment more

Wonderful Experience! 8/2/2009

These guys were great! They were prompt, super fast and very professional. We definitely got our money's worth- I have heard horror stories about movers but these guys were nothing but pros. They did not try to milk their time even though they are paid hourly- they were very speedy and efficient so we got the best deal. The best moving company I have ever worked with. 7/18/2008

I did 2 moves with them and I have very expensive furniture and they took their time & made sure that everything was wrapped & moved without any damage. I really liked the movers that I worked with as they took the time to listen to my wants and needs and made sure that they excited all of them. I would highly recommend Student Movers for any type of move/job especially if you want to make sure the things that mean the most to you are moved with the utmost care and respect; which Student Movers did for me. Final price was below the estimate they gave me 6/4/2008

In trying to find a good moving company, I read the reviews here and decided to give Student Movers a shot. Turns out... they ROCK! I called for the estimate, they asked some questions and explained the process, then gave me a range (not a big one) and told me what could affect the final cost. Very informative and nice. I'm also storing my stuff with them. They store your items in a vault and we didn't know if it would all fit into just one. Well, turns out I had a little too much stuff to squeeze into one vault, but they gave me the single vault price anyway (how great is THAT?). And the total cost to me came in UNDER the estimate. It's great to find a moving company that actually sticks to their word. Thanks for not being shysters, guys! Pros: professional, on-time, stuck to their estimate Cons: none that i can think of more

First, the represenatives of your company who spoke with us setting up the move were professional, polite, and responsible. professional and positive moving experience 3/1/2007

I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know what a plesant experience I had with Student Movers from start to finish. I called and received estimates from a number of moving companies. I selected Student Movers because of the way the estimator handled my call and specific requests. He was extremely knowledgeable, helpful,and went above and beyond by providing tips to keep costs down. My positive experience doidn't stop there. I was greeted by the movers with smiles and enthusiasm. They were good natured and took great pride in their work. This move posed a number of challanges (kitchen equip not fitting through doorways, lifting heavy kitchen equipment over railings, etc). The movers worked as a team in a completely professional manner, problem solving quickly and efficiently. Pros: great attitude, put me at ease. more
