John spent much too much time complaining about his history in Phoenix. When I heard total price I told husband we should hire a handyman, it would be cheaper. I would have sent him back but my husband wanted the job done now. John was here an hour, probably should have been done in half that time. I could care less how he came here from NJ. He repeated his life history too many times; seemed like he was here for hours - probably 1 hr, but it seemed like forever. He did a good job but I left the room - couldn't stand hearing his life story 3 times. Never had such a gabby repairman in all the jobs we had done in our house. John joked inappropriately about spraying me with the faucet, which spun completely around. Overcharged us at least 3 times the price we paid for the faucet - no guarantee from Ben Franklin on his work installing this new faucet we bought? Fortunately, there is no leak involved. Why not have a senior citizen price? I wouldn't use your service again, we feel ripped off. We can't afford such expensive plumbing. We needed to replace all our Phoenix area home CPVC plumbing due to that material's propensity to crack over time because of temperature extremes and the high chlorine content in the water during the summer. Up to 5 plumbers at a time replaced all the piping with PEX materials. They changed out many valves as well. All this got done in 2 days. After finishing the job they wiped down cabinetry and vacuumed before leaving. I can't say enough good things about the quality of work done and also the commitment to finishing in 2 days. more

Initial called on a Sunday regarding a major leak under a slab foundation. They squeezed me in and diagnosed the problem promptly. On Monday they arrived with several team members to find and repair the leak. My situation included extensive repair including locating the leak, excavation and rerouting of pipes. All were done within discussed price, promptly and professionally. I would highly recommend the services. All team members were well identified, customer oriented, professional in approach and represented their brand well. I would highly recommend. more

So when Mark F. from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came down and did not act like a know it all or a pushy salesman, but instead educated me on the machine and how I could do preventative work to prevent more damage I was pleasantly surprised. I will for sure always use this company for any plumbing issues that I cant handle myself from here on forward. more
