On the first day of a 3 day heat wave my AC quit working. I have been a customer of Specialty for 3 years. I called the next morning and was able to get a serviceman out that afternoon. Jason found a loose wire. Jason determined that I shouldn't be charged for service call because this was something that should have been caught by the installer or when I had a tune up. I appreciate a honest company and highly recommend them. more

Decent customer service seems to be a dying art but I had nothing but excellence from Specialty Heating & Cooling. From the friendly guy who did our consultation to the people who installed our unit, I am super happy with the whole process. (and btw, central AC is luxurious.) more

Sales person Ryan was very knowledgable. Installer was prompt and did work well. Cleaned area afterwards. Sales person followed up. All questions were answered. We had a heat pump installed 5 years ago by Specialty and had the same excellent result. Pricing was competitive. more

Strengths: everyone I have dealt with has been incredibly nice, professional and very responsive to questions. Deficits: Unfortunately, I was the recipient of a few challenges with installation. I am hopeful with training this will improve. Unit was installed, within 10 days the unit died. It was due to wiring problems. I was told something came loose, but overheard the tech tell others that "the wiring was all screwed up." Fast forward another week, there was a water leak. Unfortunately, when they came out to repair and do the duct cleaning, they forgot to plug the pump back in. What I learned: don't have anything that could get wet and damaged within 20 ft of unit. If you call, they respond rather quickly. There is an electric plug on the unit and there should be something plugged in. My furnace went out on Friday and by Tuesday we had the new one in. They could see that I might have some electrical that needed completing and they arranged to have the electricians there for a quick fix. Great job done well and quickly. more

From the estimate to the installment all ran smoothly. Took them less than one week to install the central air conditioning in July. Great experience with this company. more

After a quote from Specialty and another bid, it was clear who the more thorough and thoughtful assessment was from. Nic was a wealth of knowledge and was very professional. Alysia, was very professional and knowledgeable. She went about the inspection of our air conditioner and pointed out the leaky capacitor and the burnt contacts. No pressure to replace either component. I suggested replacing both while she was here. Charges for the components including installation were a little high but reasonable. Job well done. more

Specialty Heating & Cooling put in a new furnace for us and they just did good work. They were very responsive, they were here on time and they were very efficient. This is my first time using them and I hope I won't have to reach out to them again too soon, but of course I would if I had to. more

Everyone we dealt with was very professional and helpful. They were always on time, completed the job on schedule, always kept us informed on job progress, and took the time to show us how to use the new systems. They voluntarily fixed an issue with the ductwork, and went the extra mile to clean out our dryer venting. Thanks to Randy, Andy, Abe and Brady for a great job.
