MMMMM. Beer. 3/23/2006

South Street has fabulous beer. Their menu looks delightful (although I have never actually eaten there)! I always get a beer sampler when I go because I like every one of their beers so much! I'd love to get a pint of each, but I am a pretty small girl, and the outcome would just be bad. I have to say that they are definitely crowded on Tuesdays, but it is definitely a fun time. I really like the atmosphere too. we always try and sit on the couch instead of a booth or table. more

The place has great atmosphere, a great selection of beer, you can't go wrong with any choice on the menu. I don't think you can find a bad beer on the menu, I could side and sample them all if only there was enough time in the day after work to get that all done. Once you get beyond the great beer, the menu offers some of the best food that I have had the chance to taste since moving to the city. I would recommend this as a great place to grab a couple pints and some dinner for a nice relaxing night out. more

South Street: excellent, but crowded on Tuesday's 3/21/2006

South Street is a great brewery/bar/resteraunt downtown. The food is good, the beers are great, and there is lots of seating. I really enjoy going here for a beer, or even just to eat and hang out. Tuesday nights they have great specials, but a result of that is that it is VERY crowded on Tuesday's. Getting a place to sit (or even stand, on occasion) can be difficult. If you go on Tuesday, go early, or don't really expect to have lots of space. more
