We went to slim goodies to get some food after a night out. When we received our check, we all chipped in, including the gratuity that was already added. 2 of my friends dropped down their cards, at which point our rude waiter comes over (bearded guy), picks up the cards and the cash underneath, holds them for a moment, then drops the cards and money back on the table and says they don't take cards. That was our fault, they have this stated in multiple places. However, why pick up the cards and the cash, just to put it down and tell us that? Why? Because now the cash pile was suddenly short $15. We paid the ticket, minus the tip, and left, calling the management half an hour later to talk to them about the bill and what had transpired. The manager then accused us of harassing other customers and shorting them $30 (another 15 that I am sure the waiter pocketed). We never talked to any other customers, there were barely any there, and we had only taken the tip out, which we pointed out, to no avail. She sided with the waiter, and told us that we would be charged the $30. My one question at the end of this is how? They don't take credit. Be careful at this place, and be sure to count your money carefully, because he will take advantage.
Unfortunately, this is not the first money dispute with this waiter. Earlier this year he insisted that he could not make change for my friend out of his money belt, the register, or ask a co worker citing that ""they all hate me"". We eventually had to ask another worker to help us make change so we did not have to leave a $20 tip on a $35 bill.
Pros: Okay Food. Its what you expect from a diner.
Cons: Dishonest Waiters and Managers
