I had a great experience at this spa. The staff was so warm and friendly. The prices are great! I've been shopping around and found Skin Solutions to be the best priced for laser services. I started going to skin solutions in June of 2008 for upper lip and chin hair removal. Over 14 months later I didnt notice any improvement at all! I was very patient becuase they kept telling me it would work and kept getting me to but more sessions but it never worked. I thought maybe it was me, but after only 2 visits to another laser hair removal place on SI I can totally tell the difference. I wish I would have read the reviews on other websites before trying skin solutions and wasting over $1,200 there. If you want laser hair removal this is not the place for you! & dont try their eyelashes either they are clueless on how to put them on! Cons: Theyre Machines are not the Best, like they claim! more

I should have listened to the other mothers at my daughter's school who told me to stay away from this place.. I signed up for a package.. had a consultation & was then blindsided at the next visit.. They have numerous hidden fees.. Apparently the owner "doesn't know" what prices are in the magazine.. She's only the owner! She just lied over and over again.. I rather lose $125 than give them another penny.. Stay away from this place.. Pros: NONE Cons: They just lie over and over again.. more

I started going to Skin Solutions about 6 months ago with a gift certificate for a message from my husband. I am very picky because I have a very bad back and know what a message SHOULD be like. Stacy was recommended to me...OMG...I wish I had heard about her years ago! There is nobody who can make me feel that good!!!! I will never use anyone else EVER!!! more

I have been going for laser treatments here for over 3 years (bought a package) and it is the biggest waste of money ever. I happen to be very knowledgeable about laser and when I was not getting good results I questioned them on what type of laser they were using on me. Turns out they were using a laser for black/dark skinned people and I am a fair skinned italian girl. When I told them to switch me to a stronger laser meant for my skin type they did for the next 2 or 3 sessions, then they switched me back to the weaker laser without my knowledge!! I questioned the technician and she had no idea what she was talking about and said they use the weaker laser (for dark people) on everyone! This makes sense because they will get you to use more sessions since the results are not as good or as fast when they use this laser on white people. So, basically they are ripping people off without their knowledge!! I do not recommend this place because the technicians and staff do not tailor the laser treatments to each persons skin and they do not know what they are talking about. Even though their packages are cheap you will have to go for many more sessions than normal and you still won't have good results!! Save your money and go to a reputable, professial laser place. I live in New Jersey and travel to this fancy spa every month and 1/2 to do my treatments. It is well worth the commute. The staff is super nice..Do you believe they pay for my tolls? They really know there stuff. My tech is named Jeaninne and she is wonderful! I have done 6 treatments already and I am finished with my arms and ready to start my next body part..legs, brazilian and butt! ( yes I am hairy lol). I can't wait , because I am addicted. Thanks to this fancy classy spa, I am no longer going to be a hairy ape and will soon enjoy my hairless bod! Pros: great ambiance, wonderful staff, knowledgable staff Cons: none more

This spa is amazing!! I did laser on my full legs with bikini, underarms, an lip and chin. I finished all 6 sessions about 3 months ago and I still haven't shaved. They really do have state of the art equipment that's pretty painless. I did 2 sessions of laser skin rejuvenation for my sundamage and rosacea and it's pretty clear already. I don't think I'll need the next 2 sessions. I'm thrilled! The staff are sooooooooooooo nice and friendly and it is such a relaxing atmosphere. I highly reecommend this place! Finally a great affordable laser center in staten island. I am a picky person and for me to rate this spa a 10, trust me..they are good! I now have a technician by the name of Janine doing my Laser legs, laser facial and Microdermabrasion. She already got rid of my vien problem, and my bikini line is finished.
