Great traditional barbershop, with younger barbers and stylists. I got the royal treatment, hot shave and a great cut, for a reasonable price. I'll be back for sure! more

Experiences stylists, nice people. My friend told me about Silver & Gold when I was looking for a place to get my haircut for my wedding. My stylist took her time, and I got a great haircut, I think my fiance was happier than I was . The price is also very good, beats the franchises or a $40.00 salon. more

Professional service, casual enviornment 7/14/2010

I really enjoyed my experience. Lori gave me a great cut, and was very friendly. I was nervous because I have had the same stylist for years. I was quickly puy at ease by her friendly, confident manner. The cut was great at any price, but a steal for $16.00! more

Good: Have to give my best to the girls at Silver & Gold, I've always had a great cut there. On occasion they may hire a new stylist, but trust me, if they arn't good, they don't work there long! I've been a regular client there for ten years and have always had a great experience!. more

I walked in and was greeted warmly by the owner. After a short wait I was seated with Laura and she really took her time and gave me a great cut. The price was nice also! more

Good: Great cut at a reasonable price. Bad: They were buisy, I had to wait a while, but it was worth it. Improvements: Appointments would be nice. Other: This is a great local find. I moved here nearly a year ago and tried several salons in town. I was shocked at the prices being charged by stylists with little experience. I was suprised when several women in my swim club told me they get there hair cut at a barbershop! After my visit I would say Silver & Gold is much more than a barbershop! My stylist Laurie has been doing hair for years, as have most of the others there. I loved my cut, fun shop, and the $20.00 price!. more

Nice family shop 6/20/2009

My boys and I have been coming in for about a year now. They have a mix of old fashioned barbers with buzzers and razors(my style) and stylists that do long hair ( my teenage boys) I've come in at closing once or twice after work, and always feel welcome. Good way to run a business. more

I love the place! I got a good cut and highlights from my stylist for a great price. The girls are cute, and Fred the owner has some good stories of the old days. Very friendly, and good customer service. more

Silver & Gold Barber 8/17/2005

Silver and Gold is not a beauty salon. It’s a barber shop. It doesn’t smell or look very pretty, and they don’t have an attractive display of expensive hair products for you to buy. You can’t get a manicure, pedicure, or facial peal there. There’s no hair colorist. Silver and Gold is a few old men in a dingy shop with hair strewn about. They cut your hair for a reasonable price and they do it well, so that you don’t have to go to one of those orange-trimmed hair chains. They don’t ask for much money for this service. more
