As a person who frequently travels around the country, I've eaten in my fair share of restaurants. Therefore, I know good food from bad food. I know good service from bad service. And I certainly would not recommend The Silver Flame. On the two occasions that I have eaten there (within the last 45 days), the steaks were prepared incorrectly. One would think that a steak house would know how to cook a steak, but not The Silver Flame. Strike 1. Also, the wait staff is either incompetent or dyslexic. Strike 2. And the tabouli/rib/bologna appetizer (which I did not order, but was charged for) is an insult, not to mention the cabbage roll what was swimming in vinegar. Strike 3. We used to go to Siver Flame every once in a while a few years back and it wasn't bad. Some friends and I decided to go a couple of months ago and I made up my mind then, I will NEVER waste another dollar at the Silver Flame. The steaks looked and tasted like something you would get at Denny's and the other food was about the same. It is beyond me how this place every got a rating at all among the others listed here.
