Food was tasty. Pulled pork was tasty, but has a thick, sweet sauce style that this former Carolina girl likes but doesn't love. Conch and plantains were highlights. Mac n cheese done well. But seriously skimpy servings. Bummer. Left hungry. more

Discovered Sheila's on our last visit in South Florida. We dragged my Scotsman buddy that grew up in the Bahamas along for his expert opinion. APPROVED! He's since introduced other relatives that also lived in the Bahamas to Sheila's and we get regular reports when they go. more

I used to live on Andros Island, and of course had lots of authentice Bahamian food. When I found Sheila's, it was like a utopia. Finally some cracked conch !! Everything is delicious, the conch, conch fritters, conch salad, ribs, the chicken, you can't beat it. If you want fried chicken be prepared to wait. It is made cook to order and fresh. Just like and authentic Bahamian restaurant on the islands, while you wait, order up a Kalik. more

This place is great! The conch salad is fresh and as spicy as you dare. The conch fritters are huge and delicious. My favorite is the cracked conch dinner with peas and rice, I think it's about 13 bucks. The cracked conch is tender and just phenomenal! They also offer a whole fried snapper for like 10 bucks as well as a BBQ menu which I have never tried because I can't get past the conch! Some friends of mine tried the BBQ and they said it was great with kind of like an island tang or spice in the sauce. \r I lived in the Bahamas for 4 years and I'm telling you this place is great! Drink some Kaliks and enjoy the conch. more

I am addicted to Sheila's fried conch. The dipping sauce is delicious...creamy, tangy w/ a little heat. The breading is perfect, with just the right amount so you can truly taste the sweet tender conch. The conch fritters are my second fave on the menu w/lots of meat & not too much breading. Sheila truly knows her way around a conch. more

My chow-hound lunch buddies went to Sheila's for lunch today and we all really enjoyed our food: I ordered regular conch (fried) meal with pigeon peas and rice for $6.99 which included a drink, and I added collard greens for $1.99. It was delicious.\r My friend ordered fish but it was gone before I had a chance to see it. He eats fast LOL... then the other guy had pulled pork sandwich which looked GREAT and he said it was very good.\r I forget what my Jamaican friend ordered because I was too busy eating. \r Outside patio eating was great and I imagined I was beside the ocean on a small Bahamian island, it was cute inside with ceiling fans.\r Sheila was very nice, smiling and friendly.\r I will take other people there to enjoy this place. more

I took my parents to Sheila's tonight. My mom and I had the pulled pork sandwich which was good but could gave been improved by toasting the bun:).... Dad had the fried conch and said it was delicious a perfectly cooked. Also my parents thought the conch fritters were the best they ever had (and that's saying something!) Only true critique was that they charged for an extra sauce with the fritters. Otherwise two thumbs up! more

We avoid busy times by eating early or late, so we never have been more than 2nd in line. The ribs here are what the serious BBQ makers in Maryland did when I was a kid--long smoked, deeply flavored, and delicious. The conch salad is a healthy and delicious alternative with wonderful dressing of lemon juice and seasonings. Fried conch is tender and light--we soak up the oil with a napkin before eating it, as we do all fried food anywhere. With Caribbean beers and the screened open almost outdoors seating, it's like a quick trip to the Bahamas with EXCELLENT food. No better ribs in PB County (at least not at the several places we've tried). more

1/2 hour wait for ribs still being cooked, no conch fritters, limited seating maybe for 12 - 14 very long wait only to be told nothing was ready at 6pm unless you have an hour to stand and wait for something they dont have dont bother going more
