Granted....it was New Year's Day and the restaurant was quite busy. Being in the service industry myself, I usually do not complain about slow, or even, bad service. A salad was served with no utensils and had to be eaten by hand. Drinks were slow to be filled. Dinner was delivered to a five top, again with no silverware. Service was extremely slow in trying to wrap the bill up at the end of the meal. Inaccurate charges on credit cards and cash was also not counted correctly. I went to find the waitress for help and was able to get the manager involved. No thanks to the manager, the $10 charge I should have had on my credit card, cleared through my bank for almost $30.
I have gone to Shady Grove many times in the past and been pleased overall. However, I will not be back.
