I have been filing myself for the last ten years. I did not realize that I had not filed correctly. I had not taken my small business expense or depreciation correct. If you need tax help in collection matters, DO NOT enter into an agreement with an upfront fee, plus a percentage of tax saved, plus a monthly fee. This firm took my up front and monthly fee and DID NOTHING. Be prepared to pay them for a long time if you want to attempt to have faith. But I'd recommend trying another firm. \r \r Most firms will require an upfront fee. That's normal and okay IF THEY DO THE WORK.\r The percentage fee gives them incentive to do work only if you have the money to pay. If they decide you aren't rich enough, they won't do the work for you. They should figure this out upfront rather than taking your $2500 and THEN doing nothing. After a lot of stress and no wanting to deal with my tax problem. I contacted a company near my home. They did my taxs and said that they would handle me problem. It grew larger and nothing was done. Then a friend told me about Safe Tax Help. I looked up them on the computer and found some good things and bad. I suppose like anyone I wanted to really be carefull and not go to a bad company, like the first one. My friend said that they did a good job, and yet one person had entered a couple of reports that well not good. So I waited and my wages got taken. I do not understand, I read a bad review on this company and do not agree with what was said. It may be Internet games. I found this company to be great. I live in Milford PA and had gone to a company called JK Harris and they screwed me bad. Took the money and ran. Safe Tax Help did the work and cleaned up from Harris group of crooks. You just can't take all on the cuff. JK Harris had great reviews and did a bad job. Safe Tax Help was great. It was difficult but they did the job. when I hired them they were FSTN and in the last correspondence the letter head had changed to Safe Tax Help. I understand as they had received 40+ Better Business Bereau complaints... My story is they did recover over $1200 but billed me for $1400. I lost $161 in the process of 2 years. it is a legalized ponzi and I was the mark.
