We have gone with other companies in the past and had to call for pick up at the end of the trip, which sounds convenient until you have to wait for them to get around to picking you up. With saco bound, it was a preset time, we knew when to be there and we were, no problem. this was extremely helpful cause the bugs are kind of thick this time of year. we camped at fiddlehead campground, and love that they put in coin op showers!! the trip was the best one so far and we can't thank saco bound enough for all the help planning the trip, and also making it happen!!\r more

We took a 2 day trip with Saco bound and have nothing but good things to say about them. The staff was friendly and helpful, even though we had a million questions. The shuttle was on time, and even managed to take all of us back with our stuff because they didn’t have many more pickups that day.\r more

My wife and I purchased a Necky Eliza Kayak from Saco Bound the last full week of August. I spoke with Howard several times on the phone. He personally went to Maine and picked it up. We had several questions about this kayak, all of which were promptly answered. We were told to expect delivery in a week to ten days (on Friday). Despite Hurricane Irene, the kayak arrived undamaged on the next Tuesday, here in the backwoods of the Northern Adirondacks! Having packaged a canoe for shipment in the past, I was impressed with how the Eliza was packaged. Our experience with Saco Bound was better than perfect.\r more

Saco Bound has always been great to us.\r Yes on the water the weekends are very busy in July/August and it typically a younger crowed.
