My husband called this place about 4 times to ask about atmosphere, then to make a reservation, then to change reservation time, then to ask about direction to the restaurant. The staff was helpful and friendly each time. When we arrived the staff treated us like family. We ordered Ravioli with figs and Prosciuto and we loved it . Food, atmosphere, and service were all A+ more

I loved this place. My whole family but myself comes here all the time and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. The staff rocks and the food delicious and I have to admit.....fresh. I was so shocked. We ordered the Lobster ravioli that tasted handmade and fresh....not frozen and also had the grilled scallops with gnocci porcini.... delicious! And the tiramisu.....yum! I will be coming back here that's for sure! Oh! Also for a starter we had the grilled octopus.........was great! I was impressed! Hope you enjoy the food as much as I did. And it does deserve a chance....I'm a finicky eater.....so trust me you won't be kicking yourself. more

If we hadn't paid $50 per person for an atrocious meal, we'd leave it alone. But for this price, people have to be warned. This restaurant is a prime example of why you have to be careful of the reviews you read on these restaurant review sites-- they are not real. The worst was the wild boar, which, if we hadn't known ahead of time what it was supposed to be, we never could have identified this mess of some kind of ground meat with pasta in a watery sauce. It had an unnatural red dye color. We should have known what was to come when they served the salad-- a mess of junk, most of which looked like it came from a can. A big red flag is the tomato in the salad-- it was the supermarket variety-- NOT vine-ripened (and for $12 for a salad, it SHOULD have been). By the fact that the tomato had no taste, we assume that it had been refrigerated. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and service cry out for a more sophisticated cuisine. We couldn't even finish the entree it was so bad. more

We had such a wonderful dinner here that we went back the next night with a different group of people. The menu is innovative, extensive, and different than most Italian restaurants. Upscale but depending on what you order not outrageous. Everything ordered by 7 people over the 2 nights was delicious. Not one plate was sent back without it being licked clean(almost). Try any of the special homemade pastas-- they don't mind mixing sauces. The veal Milanese, the cannelloni stuffed with Osso bucco, crabmeat ravioli, boar with pappardelle, brazini, snapper, puttanesca linguini, bolognese sauce.Start with one of the special apps or burrata captese;Save room for one of their deserts:almond cake;a pyramid of tiramisu covered in chocolate, canneloni; homemade some from the chefs mother's recipes. Can't wait to go back! more

I am going to keep this short...we had one night to dine in Palm Beach. We chose this restaurant based on recommendation from 2 different locals. It was honestly the best Italian I have had in the United States. We tried: arugula with burrata salad, octopus and calamari, cannelloni ossobucco, gnocchi, stuffed clams, branzini, and 3 desserts (yummy tiramisu)....each dish was perfectly executed. We had 4 bottles of wine, each around $50, each from a different region of Italy. The wine wine list was comprehensive with a sweet price point. We had a wonderful server, and a wonderful evening. I am dreaming of going back. more

A+ for atmosphere, food selection, food quality, portion size and wine selection. First time customers who hope to return again. Highly recommend starting off with the calimari/octopus appetizer. wife ordered the ravioli special and I ordered the torellini with white sauce. Absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere...relaxed and open added to the whole experience. Highly recommended. more

The weather had turned a bit foul in Palm Beach so we decided to find a lovely cosy bistro to settle in to for the evening. I was staying at The Ritz Carlton so I thought somewhere close no venturing out to the suburbs tonight. Rustico Italiano is a lot more than a cosy bistro and to find it in downtown amongst bars and sushi is an absolute treat. Mood lighting, lots wine, closely positioned tables ,professional waiters and a very knowledgeable Maitre D. I had viewed the menu online and was keen to try the bufalo burrata with arugula. My guest had Octopus Carpaccio. The two dishes were outstanding. For main course we had Crab meat Ravioli and fettuccine Bolognese. This one to leave you wanting more so cleaning the bowl with bread was a must. Dessert was a casualty just becauseof the quality of the meals. A word of advice take your reading glasses the lighting is dim even though they lend you a lamp during ordering. You will know what your neighbours are up to due to the tight seating but it adds to the allure. more

Little Italy... 11/15/2011

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Lake Worth. Been here a few times, and the food and service have been outstanding each time. The interior is European-influenced, cozy and intimate. The staff- friendly and efficient - and dotes on every customer. As for the food, they use the best quality ingredients and every aspect of each plate is well thought out, making each dish memorable. I had the figs ravioli for appetizer as part of their Delicious menu the last time I was there, and I still dream out it to this day. I can more

I discovered this restaurant on a fluke with my boyfriend. We were on our way home from a sports and entertainment law conference and I noticed these beautiful green leaves, music beckoning and just an amazing ambiance. I walked in and they literally rolled out the red carpet for us. They set up a table outside for just us as the tables were already occupied and beautiful romantic music was playing softly over the speakers. We allowed the owner to order for us which was the 2nd best decision we made that night. This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. The food is literally outstanding. I could not find one thing to complain about if I tried. My only wish is for him to open up another restaurant but in Miami. If you are looking for true Italian cuisine with an amazing atmosphere, then this is the place to go. You have never tasted pasta/ravioli you name it like this. Its as if you woke up in Italy. Once you come here, you won't be able to eat at any other Italian restaurant because their food will pale in comparison.\r \r Robyn and John \r \r 5 stars! more
