Review content:
If we hadn't paid $50 per person for an atrocious meal, we'd leave it alone. But for this price, people have to be warned. This restaurant is a prime example of why you have to be careful of the reviews you read on these restaurant review sites-- they are not real. The worst was the wild boar, which, if we hadn't known ahead of time what it was supposed to be, we never could have identified this mess of some kind of ground meat with pasta in a watery sauce. It had an unnatural red dye color. We should have known what was to come when they served the salad-- a mess of junk, most of which looked like it came from a can. A big red flag is the tomato in the salad-- it was the supermarket variety-- NOT vine-ripened (and for $12 for a salad, it SHOULD have been). By the fact that the tomato had no taste, we assume that it had been refrigerated. It's a shame, because the atmosphere and service cry out for a more sophisticated cuisine. We couldn't even finish the entree it was so bad.
