Worth the trip 2/27/2012

I have also been going to Russell for about 20 years. He gives you a haircut that works with your hair-no fooling around trying to get your hair to do something it won't do. I have straight hair, my daughter's is curly and my son has short hair and a beard. We are all loyal clients, even though my son and daughter have to coordinate haircuts with visits home these days! I travel half an hour to get to Russell's salon, as do several of my friends-that says it all! more

A magician! 8/15/2011

I was looking for a change and happened to stumble upon this wonderful, small, low-keyed salon -- just what I was looking for. Erica, Russell's wife, is the best hair washer/head massager ever, and she is a stylist. I use Russell to cut,color, and style my hair. He totally focuses on his client - does not talk on the phone or with sales reps. I have found this to be very unprofessional in the past. Russ takes his time with everyone is has always been on time- no waiting! For hair, the place is terrific and has great parking. Skip a manicure here - the worst! Highly recommend for excellence in service and friendly staff. more

THE VERY BEST 11/25/2010

Have been going to Russell for over 20 years, before that I was always trying different salons. I always get the very best cut & color. Russell and his staff listen to you & are committed to having your hair look exactly how you want it to look. I'm very fussy about my hair; Russell Scott Hair Design never lets me down! Loads of compliments on my hair! Great cut, great color, great staff, great price, great salon. DO SOMETHING GOOD FOR YOURSELF AND GO TO RUSSELL SCOTT HAIR DESIGN! more

Fantastic cut!! 7/20/2010

Got my hair cut and colored by Russell. The color was very good but clean up was a little rushed and I was left with a lot of staining. However the cut was fantastic. Best I've had in years and it's growing in beautifully!! And their prices are excellent. more

Tried a couple of salons in this area and was extremely satisfied with this one. Not only was the staff friendly, but the hightlights & haircut were georgous! I felt like a million dollars when I left this salon and have received numerous comments on how great my hair looks. If you are looking for reasonable prices and great workmanship this is the place to go! more

Don't go here for color/highlights 1/29/2010

Staff was friendly but that is about it. Color/highlights were horrible. Very blotchy and uneven. I had to go to another salon to get it fixed. They are extremely overpriced and the salon is very small and dim inside. Don't understand how they can justify the prices. more

People stop me and ask where I got my hair done. 6/6/2007

What a great place! Staff is friendly and courteous. The stylists are excellent and offer superior service. Ask for Russell for the best haircut ever. Always satisfied. People stop me on the street and ask "where did you get your hair done I just love it". The salon is immaculate, stylish and inviting. Ample parking. Good prices. more
