service is terrible! I've been waiting for my license plates for 2 months and I still don't have it!\r \r Still giving me the run around because they too don't know where they have the title! \r \r This dealership needs to get it together, or hire competent people that know how to do their job! more

Misleading and conniving 12/7/2011

I went to this dealer because of the attractive pricing and I wondered why their prices were so low. When I got there I realized why, they make up for their pricing with their high finance rates. When I asked could I use my own bank to finance they told me that the price would be higher if I dont use their bank. I have excellent credit and yet they gave me a ridiculous rate. By the time they added everything up the price of the car was nearly $8,000 more than marked. I walked out of there!!! They called me to come back a week later promising me ""a deal"". I kept asking that they give me a concrete answer on the pricing, which they could not and once again like a dummy I fell for it. I went down there again, which is no hop, skip, and a jump away for me because I live in NY and like a dummy I fell for the bait again. When I went down there for the second time again, the price went up about $6,000 after everything was calculated. I was frustrated wasting my time, money in tolls and mental energy on these people. The thing with this dealership is that they have banks they deal with that get extra incentives (money) from and they give these high finance rates even if you qualify for a lower rate so therefore they are able to underprice their cars because they make up for it with their APR rates. I went to a local dealership and it was nothing like my experience there, I ended up purchasing from the local dealer. Never again, this dealership is dishonest, misleading, and not to mention they have poor customer service. If I could give them no stars, I would. more

Thank You!! 8/18/2011

Our experience with this dealership was wonderful. The whole staff was friendly and courteous. The paperwork was done promptly with no problems at all. The car we purchased was exactly what we wanted and we are very pleased with the price and value we got in comparison to other dealerships. We also purchased an extended warranty that was a great value. more

** I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMEND THIS DEALER ** Shame I did not read this page prior to dealing with them! I guess after this review they will have 7 magnificent reviews of their wonderful dealership! Please note the pattern of a bad review with 5-7 good reviews right behind the bad one, sometimes only minutes apart. WAKE UP PEOPLE this place is a scan!!!! SCROLL THROUGH AND READ ALL REVIEWS!!! After my initial visit, I noticed they have cars on their web page for several months after being “sold”. They had the same car with 2 different stock numbers. The fools kept the same exact picture even with the mileage and temperature, just different prices. Both cars showed pictures of the mileage and temperature, temperature reading was 49 degrees. Remember this review is in June, when was the last time it was 49 degrees on a sunny day when the pictures were supposedly taken??? Here we go now, I called about the car, they said it was available and to come on down! I explained that I was driving an hour away and to please verify it was available a young lady confirmed it was. Well it was more like an hour and twenty minutes away with traffic. When I got there I had to wait over 20 minutes to be attended, finally a salesperson walks over. I tell him the stock number I came for, he walks away for 5 minutes comes back and announces that car was just sold that morning! I asked why was I told it was available and where was it on the lot since I had looked around while I was waiting? He said it was already picked up, that was utter bulldung! He called his manager since I was very upset and said they could try and get me a great deal on a new car! Sure for the same price, ""Oh we can’t do that"". I told them my budget did not allow for a new car and I was upset since I called and confirmed before driving almost 1.5 hours and this is the best you have? Manager said he was going to “personally take care of me next morning”, he was going to speak to used car buyer and acquire a similar car to make up for what they had done it! By the second day he stopped returning my calls, his card has an email that gets returned due to bad email address. I would look and call on a regular basis with no cars matching my needs. Every week the bogus car would still be there. I showed other dealers the car and price as a comparison and all said it was bogus, no one could get a car at that price...they were right! I just got a call back from the salesperson about a similar car over $1K more then original I went to see. He said “We will take care of you since you had the problem before”. I asked if the car was clean and in good shape, did it smell like smoke? He said the car was in good shape, this conversation was just before I left my house, I reminded him about my drive and wanted to make sure it was worth the drive. Again another hour and twenty minute drive to dealer. When I get there, there was a couple complaining of coming down to see a car that was supposed to be available but was no longer available, they were extremely upset...sound familiar! I go to see the car, the rear right bumper was smashed in. I looked at the salesperson and said what was this about? The most precious comment from an ignorant sales person was ""EVERY USED CAR HAS SOME SCRATCHES AND DENTS, BUT IT RUNS GOOD""! Can you imagine buying a car that needs body work and be told with an extremely arrogant tone ""AS IS, for the price!” It needed at over $1000 of body work on it? No wonder there were no pictures of the car on the web? ** I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMEND THIS DEALER ** more

I am extremely satisfied with Rt. 22 Nissan. My sales associate went above and beyond to accommodate all requests from myself, family and friends. His professional and caring manner makes it a pleasure working with him. He also gives you that personal attention from start to finish making the process swift and easy. I would definitely recommend Rt. 22 Nissan if you are in the market for a new vehicle. more

I recommend them and will continue to do so. 10/14/2010

I always read reviews and I was honestly surprised when I read route 22 nissans, I rarely leave any. However my experience with this dealership was absolutely a pleasure and I plan on returning in the future and spreading the good word about how great they are. Buying a car is rarely easy, or enjoyable but this time it was both and I truly appreciate the way they run their business. Honest, fair and fast. The salespeople were all very kind to me and I kept thanking them for all their help. Boy where they helpful! Considering I went in with no idea what I wanted and piss poor credit and walked out with a brand new Nissan is just a testament of how good they truly are. I wasn’t rooked into buying a car I couldn’t afford, not the case at all. I was able to work out a great deal with them, using cash and mind you other dealerships refused to work with me because I was paying in cash (they make less money if you haggle/don't finance) Some dealerships are just not worth the time or money, those one was by far the best I’d ever been to. I recommend them and will continue to do so. more

good experience 9/23/2010

After shopping around online I found a 2008 Murano in my price range at rt. 22 nissan. I gave them a call and they told me that they had the car in stock and others like it. I went down to the dealership to see the others and fr a test drive. I was greeted by someone from the sales staff. I forgot what he said his name was, but he was very friendly. I explained to him the situation, how I needed an SUV because my wife just had a baby and we needed something more practical and preferred something not too expensive. He congratulated me which I thought was a nice gesture and then went into the positive aspects of the Murano as well as the negatives. There were more positives and I realized it was the right car for me and my family. I told him I was interested in the one I had seen online, so he let me take it for a drive. It ran well, had no visible marks on it and the price was decent and in my range. I decided to look at the others they had on the lot, but the first was the best so I asked if he could work out a deal with me for it. He told me he'd do the best he could and took me into the finance area where we talked out payment plans and trade in options. He was very detailed and re-explained everything the finance manager had said in terms that I could understand. I knew he was doing the best he could to get me a fair price and it showed when the total came up. I called my wife and went over it with her before handing over the down payment. I asked if we could come by a little later so she could see it and even though it was near closing time they were patient and let us take our time to look it over. She was pleased and so was I so we ended up getting the Murano and it's been great... I'm satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend this dealership. more
