I had a leak right at the edge of the foundation and within minutes Jim arrived. He made some repairs and left with us being able to use the water comfortably until they could make the major repairs 2 days later. They brought 3 people to get the job done in one day! We wanted to mention the fine job that Mr. Wilson Molina (Service Technician #728) did for us on 6/2/10. We thought we had a problem with one sink pipe, but Mr. Molina found the entire under-sink piping was defective. On a hot, muggy night, at the end of a long shift, Mr. Molina assembled a new PVC pipe network that now works beautifully. He snaked through blockage in other pipes, and also pointed out potential problems with our original-owner system.\r \r It was a relief having the work completed in one night. I had a washing machine hose break that flooded my entire kitchen. When I called Roto- Rooter I was not even sure what was wrong. They came within the hour and accessed the situation. They promptly fixed the hose with a stainless steel hose . They noticed that I had a slow moving drain and my house was old and on a slab . The plumber was very knowledgeable and offered their drain cleaning service and use of a camera to make sure I did not have any tree root problems from my big tree in the front. It was a bit pricey but since I have lived in this house 22 yrs without this being checked I had the work done. Jim Dowling from Providence was very efficient and made sure everything was in working order and cleaned up everything before he left. I now have a 1 year warranty on the drains and work that was done. Jim was really top notch plumber and a pleasure to work with. more

I live near Providence and needed a plumber to install a furnace in my home. Anne Flores came to my home and did the job and I was so pleased with her work and what a pleasant person and knowleable perso she was. She explained everything to me about the furnace. The plumber from Roto-Rooter on Broad Street in Providence just left and she was amazing. She was very pleasant and efficient. Her name is Anne-Marie R. Flores. Anne-Marie looked at the problem and all the connecting pipes. The she gave me a written estimate with all of the options available to me. She also found a problem that I hadn't yet noticed and brought it to my attention. Anne-Marie cleaned up both in the basement and the kitchen and left the area as she found it. I am very happy that Anne-Marie was the plumber sent to me. I would recommend her to everyone. more

I called the Providence office of Roto-Rooter the morning of June 1st, and the plumber was here before noon to fix my plumbing problem. The plumber was respectful and courteous; now that is something you don't get from all service peronnel. I appreciated his attitude, performance, and informative manner. Terry 3377 was the plumber that came and at that time he offered a camera service at no extra cost to check the pipes going from the house out toward the sewer connection to locate any possible problems associated with root invasion and pipe condition. Jim came that same day with his camera, and to my complete and joyous surprise there were no problems. Thank the Good Lord! Would I recomend Roto-Rooter to my friends? Absolutely! more

It was during the flood of 2010 and I called everyone for help...the company that had installed a $7,000 drain system whose pump had failed, the contractors who had fixed my roof, my son's contractor, Home Depot...NOT ONE OF THEM answered their phone. \r As I bailed out my basement with wet-dry vacs and a cookie tin, stopping only to dial the phone and listen on the speaker, I finally remembered that I had called Roto Rooter years before and got their number from directory assistance.\r When the woman answered she said, "How can I give you excellent service, today?"
