Technician came at the scheduled appointment time, explained how he was going to proceed to solve our problem and was very professional at the task. This plumber did his job well. The cost was a little more than I had anticipated, but I'm hoping that we are getting what we paid for and that the problem will not recur. Closest geographic location offered for choice was Newark NJ. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 4/3/11 4/4/2011

Our sewer main backed up on Sunday April 3, 2011 . I tried everything to open it up. I had the same trouble 3 years ago and was able to open it. I tried for 4 hours to no avail. Time to call a plumber. I finally called Roto-Rooter Newark at 8pm on a Sunday. I was shocked that they were there in less than an hour and did a fantastic job. I even got a warranty! The serviceman was polite and professional. I will definitely call again should the problem arise down the road. more

Our sewer main backed up on Sunday April 3, 2011 . I tried everything to open it up. I had the same trouble 3 years ago and was able to open it. I tried for 4 hours to no avail. Time to call a plumber. I finally called Roto-Rooter Newark at 8pm on a Sunday. I was shocked that they were there in less than an hour and did a fantastic job. I even got a warranty! Roto-Rooter Plumbers - April 1, 2011 4/4/2011

I was doing laundry and heard water running, I thought it was the washing machine, but it turned out to be the toilet overflowing. I had water everywhere. I called Roto-Rooter and wihin the hour they were at my house and figured out what the problem was and fixed it. The gentleman that came to the house was very knowledgable and extremely nice, we couldn't have asked for a better repairman. more

Newark, NJ office of roto rooter Plumbers came out to my house and cleared a stuck drain. They had to get into the crawl space and they did it quickly and without complaint. The weekend price was a bit high but it sure beat not being able to flush a toilet! more

Plumber, Newark, NJ. Had a very slow drain in the bathroom. Called Roto-Rooter 5:50 pm on a Wednesday night, hoping to get an appointment for Thursday. A very friendly customer service rep said she could have someone out there between 6-8 pm that night for no extra fee. The technician, Craig, came within the time frame. Extremely polite. Handled a very hard and dirty job very well, educated me, and let me bathroom very clean. Thank you! more

The service was performed very quickly and the plumber was very kind and informing. He explained exactly why the clog happened and different actions that can be done to prevent it from clogging in the future. He came from Newark but arrived very quickly. more

Sewage backup in basement shower...very unpleasant. Experience with Roto-Rooter…quite pleasant. Needed plumber in the Newark NJ area to remove a sewage backup. Technician was very knowledgeable and discovered the source of the problem immediately (which was a clog in the main sewer line between house and street). Source of clog was removed in no time after which a camera was sent down to investigate further and to be certain everything was cleared out. Hope I never need to, but I will defiantly call them again in the event of an emergency. more

Unbelievably FAST service! I live in Newark and had a huge mess in my basement with 4" of water. A professional plumber (John) was at my property within 45 minutes of my phone call. I have had many floods and sewer problems throughout the years and I have to admit that this was the best service I received to date. The tech was VERY knowledgeable and his friendliness was a definite PLUS! John gave us many pointers and suggestions. Congrats to Roto-Rooter! Very impressive! more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers, Feb. 21, 2011 2/26/2011

The evening of Feb. 21 was a nightmare. The kitchen sink clogged; and after we applied Liquid Plumber, the bathroom sink did the same. I wondered what was going to happen next. I called Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Services, Newark. NJ. In an hour, the service man arrived. He was puzzled but went right to work to figure out why the there was a backup to the bathroom sink. It was scary for me. After an hour, the kitchen drain was fine. Then came the bathroom sink. Soon, that was fixed as well. I breathed a sigh of relief. Nothing had backed up in my dishwasher or my washing machine. Both drains are working like a dream. Thanks to Roto Rooter Plumbers, my life returned to normal at about 9PM. more
