Plumbing in an emergency 1/21/2011

Plumber Minneapolis. Had a main drain blockage and Roto-Rooter was my first call. The appointment windows are only 2 hours, which is nice and the staff is so very nice. Service was quick and professional and the technician was extremely customer oriented. And he seemed to like the dog a lot. It was only a few hours between my initial call and having the work completed. more

Very Professional Plumbing Service! 1/20/2011

1-18-2011, I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers cause the main drain was backing up. Terry called ahead of time and was on time. Once he arrived he did an estimate, which was very reasonable. Once he started he was very professional and thorough. Terry also gave me advice on preventative maintenance. I would definitely recommend this service. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers ; 14 Jan 2011 1/14/2011

Our kitchen sink would no longer drain. At all. Called Roto Rooter. They said they'd be here in an hour. Brian arrived in less than half an hour. Gave us his quote and went to work. He said we had residual grease blockage and since our house is 50 years old and has a looooooooooong line from sink to stack, it could take some effort to get the drain unplugged. In the end, he did get it opened up but did not sound too optimistic along the way. He then sold us Roto-Rooters liquid drain cleaner for preventive measures. Sure hope it works like he said. Over all service was fine. Just glad my sink drains now. Also glad a Roto-Rooter Plumber from the Minneapolis area was available to fix our problems so quickly. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 1/9/11 1/14/2011

Basement drain back-up in our Minneapolis home at 8 p.m. on a Sunday night. RR's plumber arrived 58 minutes after calling and the immediate problem was eliminated within half an hour. Roto-Rooter gets full marks for promptness and work conducted. Mark also discussed further steps we could take since this is the second time we have had RR out here in less than a year due to tree roots in the line. Frankly, I want to call around at this stage and get cost estimates. RR charged $260 to do this job, and $254 last time. They have a single price for service 24/7. Still, I called a randomly selected plumbing service the next day and they told me they would charge $150 for clearing a drain (albeit probably not at 8 p.m. on a Sunday night), so clearly we're paying a premium for 24/7 and maybe for a national franchise. We were willing to accept that given the urgency (couldn't use any water in the house!) at the time, but if this turns out to develop into a bigger job (camera inspection, re-line pipes,...) then I'll definitely get other estimates too. more

Roto-Rooter Plumber was needed for tub drain. Terry the plumber saved the day. Technician #3803. He was prompt, neat and cleaned up after himself. He also wore those "blue" booties and that was appreciated. He gave my mom a senior discount and being on a fixed income that was very nice. He suggested a drain cleaner from Roto-Rooter, which she already has. More people like Terry need to be hired at Roto-Rooter!!! Mom has always used Roto-Rooter!!! Very good experience.................He was very professional and very helpful. more

Backed-up Floor Drain in the Basement 1/3/2011

I submitted an online appointment request at 8pm on Tuesday, and I received a call from Roto-Rooter at 8 am the next morning to confirm my appointment. Mark was at my house within 2 hours and was very professional and efficient. We were relieved that the problem was resolved so quickly. more

Roto Rooter Plumbers 12/29/10 12/29/2010

I first contacted Home service Plus and they gave me all kinds of rates and time limits and conditions. So I called Roto-Rooters Plumber in Minneapolis to get a contrast. I have had them come in the past and they did a great job each time. This time, I when I talked with the phone agent she said she all ready had a service man in my neighborhood and he could be there within the hour. Wow. I also inquired about cost and she said they do free estimates on site only. Which makes sense to me because, each house is different and they need to make the estimate right. The service man Brian was pleasant and informative and courteous even though he did try to sell me allot of other services and products which I am sure work great, but I just wanted the drain cleared. He was not pushy or overbearing which I appreciated. I will use them again and recommend them to others. Thank you Roto-Rooter. more

After two other plumbers came out and did not solve my problem, I called Roto Rooter, and a plumber came out. He was so efficient, explained the process and was very nice. I will only be calling my Minneapolis Roto Rooter company from now on. Thank you! more

My washer flooded the laundry room! I called Roto-Rooter and Brian arrived an hour later. I appreciated the professional manner of all Roto-Rooter staff. Both the main drain and floor drain had to be snaked out but Brian explained the process along the way. Problem resolved and now I'm back to catching up on laundry. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter in the Minneapolis area. They are top notch. more

Ray did a fine job for me. He arrived soon after my call to the office and stayed until everything was done. He took care of the issues I knew about, and found a few more things that would probably have caused trouble in the future. We got a lot of work done! more

Yucky gooey slimy gunk 11/11/10 11/12/2010

I went downstairs to do a load of laundry, and a garbage oder took over the whole basement. Looking around, I didnt notice anything unusual. Then my dog Elby came downstairs, and went right to the source. There was a hole in the concrete floor oozing corn and other leftovers we had put down the garbage disposal the night before. My first thught was that we had a backed up line, ans Roto-Rooter poped in my head. I went to the yellow pages, found Roto-Rooter, and to my surprise, conveniently COUPONS! Coupons right in the yellow pages. I thought it was great! When I called, the lady on the other line said the technician would be ther within two hours. That was nice. Then soon after I got a call that he was on his way. When he arrived, he introduced his name as Mark. He said he came all the way from Robinsdale, which is a pretty long drive, and he still made it within the two hours.Mark explained a lot to us about our plumbing lines and what not to throw down the disposal.. Like cooked spagetti. I had no idea. He did a very prfofessional job , and we are satified with our service. Thank you Roto Rotter, and thank you Mark. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 11-11-10 11/11/2010

It was like my own personal horror show. I went downstairs late at night to see sewage backing up from the shower drain, and the laundry room floor was flooded. I immediately went online and scheduled a appointment with Roto-Rooter of Minneapolis. They sent out John the plumber, and he did a fantastic job. He was friendly, professional and helpful. He fixed the problem right away, and gave me some suggestions for the future. The online service was great. I was able to see the status of the order & knew when he was on the way. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers - Nov 3, 2010 11/4/2010

Around 11 p.m. I noticed water backing up from my floor drain after finishing a load of laundry. I suspected roots in my mainline and immediately called Roto-Rooter of Minneapolis to have a plumber come out to check. Within the hour Brian was on-site and quickly set to work. He efficiently cleared out the roots and double checked to make sure all was clear. He was extremely professional and courteous. I am very appreciative of the excellent service so late at night. more

I had water backing up from the floor drain when the washer emptied in the wash tub. John arrived in less than an hour. One hour later all was flowing again. He was very helpful and pleasant to talk to. All my questions were answered. Roto-Rooter will always be my first choice. more

Late Sunday evening, I scheduled a visit online for the next morning. I live near Minneapolis. Jeff arrived within the time frame requested, fixed my problem, cleaned out my linen sink, and explained why the problem was occurring. He also provided education on prevention thru use of a environmentally sensitive and simple product and set-up a follow-up call to get an estimate from a Roto-Rooter plumber on a non-code compliant issue that was also contributing to the clogs we keep getting. more
