Awful customer service. If it wasn't for their tasty food they would be shut down. Poor management. It takes about an hour for a server to get to you because there is only one working , also food takes another hour and a half. It's a shame to see such poor service and effort put into this place. CUSTOMER SERVICE people! more

If you really want to eat something from there, because the food is good, do not eat in the restaurant - you will loose your appetite it is so dirty and discussing. The place is always full, so you know they make the money to replace backs of chairs, replace broken booths, clean the bathrooms. The large window to show you the ""children"" cooking is so filmy you can't seem them. Very very poor service.. maybe because their manager at night is clueless and runs around ""uninvolved"" and the rest of the place is ran by teenagers. more

Wow, those previous reviews are not very nice, but it is what it is I guess. I've been there twice and our service was great so were the food. They always busy and it shows me that people like them, I will be back. I also found coupon for half price pizza at BestDealsDenver. com. more

I have been going to Roma Restaurant for about a year now. Yes the service is poor but there are new ownership in place now. One of the owners are somewhat a clean profectionist. They have been working on geting the place in better condition and service then the previous owner. The service isn't the best because the waiters have more duties the normal coporations it's a family owned business keep that in mind. Yes the place looks poor condition but the waitstaff are friendly and respectfull. If you have worked in a restuarant before you should know it stressfull and hard work, Before you condem it try it for your self and see. If you have comments and suggestions tell a manager or write it down and have the waitris give it to a manager or owner. Pros: Good Food more

We went meet friends at this place to eat and have drinks. We waiting for 52 mins to get a table, another 30 for someone to notice we were there, another 42 mins for our food, which was a pizza. This is the last time we go here to eat. more

My family have been going to Romas for 30 years but never again we went in and waited 30 minutes for a table and another 20 before we were acknowledged by a waitress. 45 minutes later we asked about our food as our 5 yr old was having a meltdown and needed to eat we were told our food would be up in 12 minutes. we asked if our 5 yr old could get her spagetti and watch as tables around us were getting severved even though most had come in after us. 25 minutes later we asked to pay our drink tab and waited 30 minutes to get a manager to attend to us and allow us to pay our tab. I have NEVER had such poor service--- their food is great best to order early and pick-up late. Pros: good food Cons: service more

I had a coupon for ROMA and decided to try it out. I went in with an open mind, but my first thought when I walked in was "" this place is a dump'. The restuarant was very crowded for a Monday night, so I figured their food must be worthy. Once my girlfirend and I were seated, we immmeadiately noticed how dirty the place was. There was food all over the floor and on the walls near our booth. I didn't even want to know what the kitchen looked like. I began to wonder why this place was so popular. I soon discovered they have a special on Calzones, so apparently if the price is right people will eat anywhere! Our waitress looked like a meth-head and was very rude. She actually insulted me when I ordered water, inferring that I was cheap. Then it took over 45 minutes for a food to get to the table, which was a thin-crust pizza that should only take 15 minutes at most to cook. Then the most disturbing issue of the night, was when I went to the restroom! The mens restroom was absolutely disgusting and I am not even sure it was legal by sanitary standards. If a healthboard saw these restrooms the place would be shut down. It reaked of urine and looked liked they haven't been cleaned for 6 months. I have seen cleaner bathrooms at bars on 'dollar-beer night' at 2am in the morning! Worst of all, the employees and staff of the restaurant the makes and serves the food had to use these faciltiies. My wife and I decided to take 2 couples out to eat. I called Roma's and was told there was no waiting. I live 5 minutes from Roma's. I got there and had to wait 45 minutes for a table. After ordering food, I waited 45 minutes and asked our waitress when our food would be ready. The waitress goes to the kitchen and magically appears with our food. The pasta dishes were ice cold (the waitress said the chef just took them out of the oven, that's a lie I watched her and the chef). We left. The waitress never checked on us and wasn't too concerned that our food was substandard. My wife and I have lived in Thornton over 10 years and we will never go to Roma's again and will tell everyone we know not to go there either. Cons: Bad Service, Pitful Waitstaff more
