We had been looking for a home quite sometime and they were very patient with us since we had very particular wants and needs in a home; in other words we were very picky. We recently purchased a home with this agency; we had many issues with the agent and with getting the inspection items fulfilled. Also our agent did not show up for the final work-through inspection, the agent sent someone else to do it. Also when we closed, several items that were in the contract were missing from the home, we raised these issues with the agent, and had no quick response or resolution to our issues. Another office employee, obliviously not trained in real estate did NOT know how to read or understand the sales contract, this employee had the audacity to tell us that items affixed to the wall, did NOT stay with the property, that even though written in the contract, that it actually wasn’t so in Little Rock. A phone call to the Real Estate Commission of Little Rock, verified that Yes, items not listed as leaving the property, that are affixed to walls etc., do stay with the property. This ordeal was rather heated and ill handled by the staff and as newcomers to the area we felt taken advantage of. The owner was extremely rude and slanderous, very unprofessional, yelling and using inappropriate language. I found this office to be extremely unprofessional and unqualified to handle real estate transactions. If you are looking to buy or sell a property, proceed with EXTREME caution, before entering into any real estate transaction with this company. I had to edit this post due to the Threat of legal action by the Real Estate Company, due to the fact that they felt this review was hurting there business. The staff is knowledgable, and being locally based, unlike Crye-Leike, have a much more real and honest understanding about the current climate of the real estate market, which is extremely important, given the highly volatile and unpredictable nature of property values in Central Arkansas. McCaskill represents a wide range of clients, although he mostly service the Little Rock and North Little Rock areas and homes ranging from $180,000 to $350,000 in value. more
