Rising Stars Preschool

I enrolled my son last year after researching Pre-schools in the Cedar Park area. I wanted to enroll my son in a school that had an academic based approach to learning instead of play based. After visiting the school and meeting with Leah, the director, my husband and I were happy to send out son to Rising Stars. My son is very shy at first and after touring the school, he did not want to leave. more

My son adored his 2.5 years at Rising Star and is very well prepared for kindergarten, for that I am very satisfied. However, I did find the new management (director) unprofessional and there is very poor communication between director and teachers. Thank goodness they are all very good, well educated, experienced teachers despite this fact!! Also, I noticed on several occasions garbage overflowing, dirty tables and floors and overall uncleanliness. more

My 5 year old daughter is about to graduate from Rising Stars Preschool. Rising Stars has been the perfect place for her, and we could not have been happier with the care, attention, and education that she has received for the past three years. Our five year old is quite advanced, and Rising Stars has gone out of their way to keep her working at her own pace and level. Her teachers have always strived to keep her interested and challenged, yet still ensured that she had fun. This is everything that we could have asked for. With so many play-based preschool programs around, it was a challenge finding a preschool that offered a strong academic foundation along with all of the comforts of home! Rising Stars has it all! The teachers are so happy and warm...they ALL greet my daughter by name when she walks in the front door! The kids are so happy and loving. They are taught respect and caring right alongside academia! At age 4, my daughter is counting by 10s, writing, and starting to read sight words! Sending my 2 1/2 yr old son to school for the first time was heartwrenching for me! I searched and searched for a wonderful, loving, academic based preschool, and found it all at Rising Stars. The owners, director, and teachers are absolutely wonderful! They treat my son with the same loving care that I do, and I couldn't ask for more. Every day when I go to pick my son up from school, he cries because he wants to stay at school longer! It's been a wonderful experience and we have already registered him for next year, and upped it to three days a week from two since he loves it so much.
