They refused to reimburse me for them, saying that it must have been a flaw in the manufacturer's material. The manufacturer is well-respected Alice and Olivia. GREAT SERVICES> One day servies and i can drop them off and they can turn them around in 4 hours. Yeah! It would appear when you use a service you can review them quite honestly and with a level of integrity, which REIDS FAMILY OWNED business has both. Doyle and Michael Reid I met both when I first moved back to Austin in 1995 and they were great then and only have finely positioned themselves with precision to be a great dry cleaning service. I do have a concern though, when are you going to make more commercials and make more locations even though they have multiple stores already. I have nothing to say but great things regarding great dry-cleaning services and despite some uninformed reviews like TJRAASH whose only concern was he didn't like the tune. I had a problem with my last drop off - a pair of slacks had been ruined. When I asked for reimbursement to replace the item, they wouldn't accept responsibility. The ""owner"" practically laughed in my face when I said I'd never go there again...whatever happened to customer service? I will never go there again. more

I love your TV commercial! It wins my vote for the most enjoyable commercial of the year. There are too many rude, offensive, odious and inane commercials on TV. I tend to block out commercials, but this one is pleasant to behold. Who is the singer? Is she in the Reid family? more

This group of indaviduals are just clueless when it comes to taking care of there clients. Let me say that it starts with the leader and his name would be Joe.....he is the owner. My wife had a reaction to the cleaner thatt was used in there sultion back in April of this year, I ddi not remember this so when I was asked to take one of her suits I took it to Reids. She had the same reaction that she did before so when I too it back to see they could correct the problem I was told tough luck. They would not reclean the jacket nor would they give us our $7.00 dollars back SEVEN DOLLARS....can you belive this, they are willing to loose a client perminatlly for SEVEN DOLLARS. I would like to say that in the past I took all my suits to Reids and I stopped for the past 10 months but come January of next year I will be waring them again......I won't be taking them to Reids to be cleaned that's for sure. What I would like you to think about is if this company will not resolve an issue as small as this how do you think they will treat you if something much worse happens....my guess is they will tell you to go pound sand!!! Also I would like to let you know that this is the first complaint that I have ever left for someone so I hope that this is taken as a strong message to take your business elsewhere, were people that really care about there business and there customers.......NOT SEVEN DOLLARS. If you would like to see how they treat there clients just call JOE and ask him a difficult question, I am sure that he will answer it quite rudely for you. I've read the negative reviews and am hoping I don't have the same experiences. The staff are not particularly friendly but if you flash them a smile and show some courtesy, you tend to get what you want. I only go to have my down comforters dry cleaned and they have always done a great job. I took two one time and while they did 'lose' one (the ID tag fell off), they spent a good thirty minutes digging through the racks to find it for me. On top of that, I had turned it in with a small tear that they mended for free. The comforters came out spotless and smelled really lovely. They were the least expensive of about 5 dry cleaners in my area that I called at only about $20 a comforter (I've paid $70 before). I will continue to use them so long as I don't experience anything like what other negative reviewers have. Pros: Very inexpensive to have down comforters cleaned. Cons: Staff not terribly friendly. more

I have 3 shirts that were not prooperly clean and have darm pit stain fading becuse it wasnt properly cleaned before pressed. This is the only dry cleaners that have this problem. They are also pretty pricey for what they give. I will not be using them again. Pros: Next day service Cons: Ruined clothing more

I've been using the Ried's on Brodie for about 1 year and started after the $1.49 cleaners became too unreliable (what do you expect for that price). I checked out a few places in the area, asked for prices and dropped off a few pieces of clothing at each of the cleaners. Tip Top was 19% - 50% more expensive ($1 extra for rayon/silk, 5% extra for 'rush' service). They did, however, have great packaging and did sew on a missing button without my asking. I think Jack Brown was even more expensive, so I didn't even bother. Pros: quality, service, location more

I took a comforter to Reid's for cleaning. When I picked it up, it was so faded I didn't recognize it. When I complained, the owner told me that they didn't do anything wrong and would not be responsible. I definitely would NOT recommend Reid's to anyone because of the rude way they treat their customers. more

I dropped off two shirts that were both silk. I told them that I had never paid that much; the customer service assistant didn't seem surprised. Also, I noticed that both shirts are slightly ruined. I was impressed with the overall quality of service of Reid's cleaners. The employees were friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend this cleaners to anyone willing to pay for quality work as this is not a one price type cleaner. more
