Best

I love this theater. Its in a great location. I cant say to much about the parking because I work a block away :-) . Id recomend this place to anybody. Pros: seating, soud ...

Worst

Very Serious - I was trapped in the lobby/parking garage elevators there for over 45 minutes. This is after the elevator fell from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor with me in it. (I...

Great Theatre 9/13/2003

Paying for parking is not an issue. If anybody who had complained about it every tried to run a business--especially in such a high dollar area--you would understand it's just part of the business. Besides, if you are that cheap that you can't afford a $2 parking spot to park close to the movie, you shouldn't be spending money on a movie. You're probably the same type of person that doesn't tip waiters, valets or anyone else. Bottom line--great theatre. Pros: Clean Theatre, Ample Parking, Marble Slab more

Nice 1/11/2003

Edward's is a clean, large theatre, and it is very convenient. The only thing I dislike is that it can be very crowded sometimes. And the frozen coke machine rarely works. When it does work, the frozen cokes are soupy and not frozen well. But the theatres are large, comfortable, and well-kept. I don't think parking is a rip off - you have to be pretty cheap to complain about a $2 fee! It's worth it - the garage is right next to the theatre, and there is plenty of it. Pros: Good parking, Many auditoriums, Clean Cons: Broken frozen coke, Crowded more

Urban Treat 12/8/2002

Thankfully, along with the Greenway, River Oaks and Angelika, we city folk don't have to venture out to the soulless, void-of-culture suburbs to attend a megaplex theater. Thankfully, this theater is relatively free of Mall-Rats and Gang-Kidz -- unlike the free-for-all chaos at suburban counterparts. Also, garage parking means SUV owners can't take up 4 parking spaces. Carpool if you can and allow a few extra minutes for parking. Pros: In-the-loop location, Title Choice, Few Gang Kidz more

Better to walk here than to park! 10/4/2002

Worst thing about this theatre is the parking is a rip off! They increased parking to $2 from $1. If you don't know they won't tell you but you can get a $1 off coupon for concessions. Not a big deal. Prime time is the worst - cars are lined up in connecting streets to file in the parking garage and to leave the place as well. Pros: Good facility, New & still clean Cons: Only 1 place to park, $2.00 to park, Long line to park car more

IT I S A CLEAN THEATER AND SHOWS ALL OF THE NEWEST MOVIES!!!! more

Still a rip 7/21/2002

Don't know where the person thought the parking fee was $1, it doubled & there is no coupon given to parkers. Plus they usually only open one lane for entrance to the parking area, causing a back up of cars all the way back to Weslayn. And the first 3 levels of the parking lot do not allow any parking in the center ramps, so you have to go to the top to park in the center. Add to that the confusion of the elevators not being attached to the main building, and you will think you are on the 3rd floor, only to find you are on the 2nd floor in the theater. Could have designed it better. more

Don't like the $2 parking don't go!!!! 7/5/2002

Get over the $2.00 parking!!!!! I agree that it will keep the trash out of the theater. Like you will really know where you spent that $2.00. Park on the street, let someone hit your car and you will have wished you wouldn't have been so cheap!! If you want to complain about a fee, complain about some fee that is really important. Don't waste your time on a parking fee because my friends and I will still go and pay the price. more

Avoid the Elevators-UnSafe!) 6/21/2002

Very Serious - I was trapped in the lobby/parking garage elevators there for over 45 minutes. This is after the elevator fell from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor with me in it. (I did not get physically injured.) To make matters worse the manager wasn't going to close the elevators for service until I compained that the same thing might happen to the next unlucky person to wander into this elevator. My advice - use the stairs. Other comments - Like everyone else I hate paying for parking at a movie theater. The sound and picture quality is first rate. Pros: Comfort, Stadium Seating, Audio/Video Quality Cons: Paying for Parking, Unsafe Elevators, No student discount more

It's the Principle of it all! 6/18/2002

Won't go; never will go. Why? Anyone who is greedy (and arrogant) enough to build a theater then not provide free parking doesn't deserve my business. It would be convienent for us to go see movies there, but we choose to go elsewhere. Finding out that people get their cars broken into is just one more reason, I suppose. Pros: New Cons: No Parking, No Parking more
