Not sure what the last person was talking about...I have been here 3 times and it's been nothing but wonderful! The service and food are great!! It's not trying to be anything but what it is...a MUCH nicer option than most places in the area!! It is not trying to be "too cool" and it is not!! Unpretentious is the word I'm looking for!! I love it and and will be back soon! more

A futile attempt even for Boston.... 12/20/2006

I can't believe this place is so highly ranked. First of all, its not upscale...its a bar. A small bar at that. The waitress served me a glass of flat champagne knowing it was flat! She admitted it to me when I asked her for a new glass. In all my experiences when you order a glass of champagne and it is the last glass poured from a bottle and its flat... you toss that glass and pop a new bottle open. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about Honestly, this is not the nice upscale lounge its trying to be. Pros: Location Cons: Food, small space, poor service more

Cool place..parking is tough...big line on Sat nights..great people watching 11/27/2006

Went with 5 friends and was plesantly suprised! Food and drinks were excellent!! Try the Red Sky Martini. Get there early on Sat. We waited in line for 35 min and it was FREEZING. Door man was very nice though during our wait and even offered to get us somehot tea from inside! Can't wait to go back! Pros: food, music, cocktails Cons: parking tough, big line sometimes more

Went last week to my girlfriends b day party..we had a small lounge area reserved for 20 of us..SO MUCH FUN!! Our waitress was so cute and fun and gave us great service. Cant wait to go back! Pros: cool music, lots of good looking people more

Can't get enough...... 11/26/2006

Living in the neighborhood, I go there for lunch or dinner at least twice a week!!! Try the lobster pizza..it's to die for!! Red Sky is also great after work place to hang and gets a great bar crowd on Thurs, Fri and Sat nights. It is FAR from average ( as someone put it previously) The food, drinks and staff are all wonderful!! They play outstanding music too!!!! Great addition to the neighborhood!! Decent bar for Fan. Hall, but not much different than most 11/23/2006

Its a little darker, a little more expensive, and a has less baseball hat wearing college kids, but its still quite similar to most bars in the area....loud music, average food, and lots of beers on tap. if you have to go somewhere in the area, its not a bad choice if you're over 23. Pros: Great bartenders, better atmosphere than most places in Fan Hall. Cons: nothing really special about it more

I love this place because they play the best music! The martini list is awesome and the staff is great (and really good looking too). I am here every week because they are the only place that serves good food late. Love it all!!! Pros: music, staff, martinis, tapas, and great decor! more

Best new spot handsdown!! 10/23/2006

Red Sky is by far the best new spot in town. Its about time there finally is a place to go in the Faneuil Hall area and not have to deal with the "dollar draft seekers", the faneuil brawl mentality, and the over crowded same old scene. Red Sky is a great atmosphere, with great service (good looking staff to boot!), and a great menu which is served late until 1am. Ive been there several times early on in the week and their is always a decent crowd. Wednesday is especially great early with a Frank Sinatra impersonator. I now make this a weekend ritual as well. Can't get enough of the place I highly recommend it and agree with all the awards and rankings they have been receiving. If you have not been there you are missing out! Pros: No cover, Late menu, serve right till 2 more

Stick to the bar 10/17/2006

Ok, I was here 2 weeks ago with a date (that I travelled up from NYC to go on), and I went here based on its 9.3 rating. It was OK, but it does not merit that rating. Yes, the service was above par. No, the food was not heavenly (we went with the tapas, maybe that was a mistake - the dumplings were uber-deep-fried, the tuna tartare nothing to write home about). And when we asked for waters, we got them in (I kid you not) those same bright red plastic cups they have in college/high school cafeterias. Classy. I remain optimistic that Boston has better date / dining experiences - I'll be back soon to investigate. more

Adds a touch of class and style to Faneuil Hall 10/9/2006

If you want to avoid the madness that is Houston's on Thursdays-Fridays after work, but want to stay in the Faneuil Hall area, then Red Sky is highly recommended! This is an awesome place for a couple of drinks after-work/pre-dinner, as the subtle (yet sleek) decor, mellow vibe, and great service lends itself to a great time! This is an ideal place to go w/ a date or significant other, as well as with a smaller group of friends if you want to enjoy good conversations w/o having to raise your voice just to be heard... This is a stylish and upcoming restaurant/bar that is a great addition to Faneuil Market. They serve fantastic cuisine with flare and rich flavors. The atmosphere is energetic, fun and classy without being pretentious. The mixed drinks are heavenly and the beers are priced just right. I highly recommend coming here to hang out or to have a romantic dinner with someone special. It is a lounge that suits all occasions and tastes. Pros: location, reasonably priced, great ambiance Cons: can't get there often enough more

The Best of Boston in staff,service and great selections of food. I would recommend this location to everyone of any age. The quality of the service must be a reflection of the owners thrive to be the best. The thing that most stays in my mind is that the portions of food are great and very good. Great All Around Experience 7/10/2006

I have been to Red Sky several times since it recently opened. I dine out alot and this place by far has some of the best food I have ever tasted. The presentation is beautiful, the timing is right on, and the service is friendly and efficient. The entire staff is cherry, hospitable, and delighted to serve you. The drinks are reasonably priced for the area, and the night atmosphere rivals some of the hottest spots around. Very trendy music and chic decor throughout the establishment. If your looking for a place to relax, enjoy great conversation, and be surround by friendly service look no further, Red Sky is the place! Pros: ambience, service, price more

The Red Sky is the new hot spot in Boston! It's atmosphere is romantic, relaxing and also fun! Whether you're going there to have a dinner date, just hang out and lounge around, or watch the sox game, on any given night this restaurant is perfect! The food is absolutely delicious from its appetizers to its entrees, and the presentation is flawless. The employees are happy to serve, and very upbeat, keeping the restaurant-goers happy. Great Place! 7/5/2006

I've been a few times and the place is great for all occassions. I've been there for martinis after work, been there for a dinner date, even stopped in to have drinks and to watch the Sox game. Love the place! The people working there always have a great attitude and really take pride in their service level & presentation. Everytime I've eaten there, the food has been phenominal; I think they have the best calamari and pork chop in town. Major props for the owners & managers, I highly recommend this place. more

Best Spot to Enjoy a Great Dinner and Hang Out and Party All Night! 7/4/2006

This place has it all if you ask me. The location is mint! Located in Faneuil Hall next to McDonalds, and right across from the taxi stand which is great on rainy days! The food is absolutely outstanding and they serve it until 1am, which is great for a late dinner! This place is great to hang out all night also because the atmosphere is relaxing and you can actually hear yourself talk. With comfortable couches, and great windows to watch the passers-by this is a cool place to spend your Friday or Saturday nights! Oh, and I ordered the weekender drink and it is the perfect drink for your weekend! Pros: Location(right across from a taxi stand and so close to the parking garage!) Cons: None really, I was very impressed! more

Good Food-Great Crowd 7/4/2006

I was in town on a Biz. trip/Dousy and happened to stumble upon Red Sky last Friday night. I went in for a quick dinner, and ended up staying all night . Great Food, good service, everyone was polite, and a nice friendly crowd (a lot of brizzies). Highly recomended, I had such a good time I went back on Sat. night... Pros: Had a wonderful experience will definitely go back more
