RG Group has been great so far. My salesman Patrick has been really great to work with. He is a young man, but he is very knowledgeable about their products. He is very cordial, professional and always follows-up. I just met his boss, and he is a fine gentleman too. more

Quick in their responses and follow-up, and they're dependable! 1/11/2012

We're a third-party industrial supply company and Van Air Hydraulics(RG Group) is one of our sources. Recently we increased our services with them. We've continued to used Van Air Hydraulics because they've been able to provide the materials for our applications. I would definitely recommend Van Air Hydraulics. They're quick in their response and follow-up, and they're dependable! more

Excellent service at a reasonable price!! 12/14/2011

LouAnn Kirk from RG Group is usually the customer representative that I deal with. She gets the quotes to me right away. I think this is especially important in addition to price because it's the first person that gets the quote that the customer will choose. Really went out of their way for us! 10/31/2011

We dealt with RG Group about three months ago. They really went out of their way to help us get the products they didn't have in stock. Their price for the items they had in stock was good and in the ballpark, however we had to pay the other vendors prices for the items that RG Group didn't have in stock, and those prices were not that good. Also, their lead time for getting the products delivered from the other vendors was pretty long. However, their service was really good and we will use them again. more

My company uses Powertech, a branch of RG Group, for hydraulic parts--mostly fittings and hoses. I have been dealing with them personally for ten years, and the company has been with them for twenty. We could probably get the parts cheaper elsewhere, but at the sacrifice of customer service. Jeff is my representative over there, and I would recommend him to anyone. He is top notch--you couldn't ask for anything better. We have a very good open line of communication, and he will tell me the pros and cons of any product. While not the absolute cheapest, their prices are still fair, especially considering the service. Beryle more

Generally, when I work with someone from RG Group, they are extremely friendly and very eager to please, so that's very nice. I keep having trouble getting the things to actually come through when I order them though. I place an order and it sort of vanishes for awhile, then I get the parts in a box, so I do get them eventually. Other distributors give me a lead time and a definite date, but when RG Group says it will be here in about 6 weeks, I've got an order that hasn't arrived in 8 weeks. All the components I have ordered have been great, and the people have been very, very friendly. I enjoy working with RG group, and I try to help them out with tips on how to improve because I appreciate the value they offer. more

Powertech provides a good service. They're not necessarily the lowest price, but I think the value of their service is great. We go a long ways with them. Steve has always been there and is available to give us advice in order to help us to find the right product and lead us in the right direction. Neta is our new customer service rep. She knows and understands her stuff, and what she doesn't know she'll research and go to great lengths to get you the quote and information you're after. I have rarely worked with somebody that friendly and willing to help. She is an extremely nice person and a phenomenal rep. Companies can be good, but it really comes down to the people. I've never had any problems with RG Group. I just do the orders, and we get the materials promptly. Our company has been doing business with them for quite some time, since before I started working there. We continue to use RG Group because they have the materials we want and they get them to us when we need them. more

I have a somewhat limited experience with RG Group, as I only use them about twice a year, but I have been using them when needed for about 15 years. My company repairs tools, and RG supplies certain parts that aren't accessible elsewhere. RG Group have always been responsive when I contact them. They also seem to have a good inventory. I'd say they do a nice job. more

The customer service at RG Group is very nice and very polite. The follow up with our project was very good. We were back and forth with them all the time. The only thing was just some miscommunication. It was a very long order, and there was some miscommunication about it. Part of it was because of shipping issues, and we had to go back and forth, and that delayed the project. more

We've used RG Group for about seven years and have had two different Representatives during that time. This company is extremely responsive, and come in at least once a month to keep in contact and to keep us updated. They are very good to work with. If we ever experience issues, they will send someone right out to help. more

Wide variety of products. 4/11/2011

We typically get our compressed air fittings and regulators from RG Group, as well as different types of connectors. Anything within the compressed air or fittings category we get from them. They are not the quickest at responding, but they are okay. They do carry quite a wide variety of products. They also have a store, so we often go pick things up there. more

I've never had any problems with RG Group. I can't really compare the price, as they are the only distributor in the area for what we buy, but it seems the prices aren't too bad. My experience with their sales people has been great though. They are good, and knowledgeable. more

I call RG Group a lot to do look up work for me because we're not sure of certain parts, and they have no issue faxing a complete list of parts for me. They have come over a few times to look at our equipment and fix things or explain how to do things differently. I can always get what I need from them without having to go somewhere else.
