Progressive Medical Center

Without Progressive medical my life would not be the same. I had initially gone to them 3 years ago for treatment of high blood pressure, fibromyralgia and thyroid problems. I was making a lot of progress thanks to the Dr.s and staff. In May of 2012 I had surgery that went very wrong. After consulting with 12 specialist and having additional surgery, I returned to Progressive Medical. I wished I had done it much sooner. I have made so much progress. My ""specialist"" are amazed that I am able to do things they said I would never do again. People ask me why I am so happy to go to the ""DR.'s office. I just tell them it feels so good to feel so good. I have referred several friends and they are very happy to find so much knowledge all in one place. I do agree there are some growing pains, but well worth it to get such great care. I am so very happy that I am under their care. more

My visits to Progressive have been great. The staff is all very helpful and they have looked at the ""full picture"" instead of just trying to treat symptoms. more

Progressive Medical has helped me after other doctors just threw prescription drugs at me without ever getting to the root cause of my health issues. I am THANKFUL for Progressive Medical and their caring doctors and entire staff. They have made a difference in my health and I am now optimistic about the future again! more

I am very pleased and impressed with Progressive Medical Center. Two friends of mine had suggested going there after months of drug treatments for swollen lips and eyes. They got right to the problem without prescription medicine! Better life!!!!!! more

So far I have enjoyed Progressive Medical because I believe in functional medicine and getting to the root cause of illness and disease and I believe this is what they are doing with the detailed testing that standard medical doctors do not believe in. more

I've known about Progressive Medical for years. I have been into Integrative Medicine since I initially started reading Prevention Magazine in the 1970's. I have followed Doctors Agolli and Burdette on their radio show on WGKA 920 am. in Atlanta. I set up an initial visit due to a condition known as Recurrent Corneal Erosion, as my primary physician and my and my ophthalmologist could not get to the bottom of the problem. I was impressed with the initial visit\r and decided to go the full route with all the tests. I hope Progressive Medical will be able to find out what is going on in my body (metabolism) that is not allowing my body to totally heal. I initially referred a friend to Progressive Medical who had breast cancer. She had a lumpectomy done but decided not to have the chemotherapy and went with Progressive Medical. Over 5 years later she is alive and well with no recurrence of the cancer. more

Thank God for Progessive Medical. I had been to over 30 different doctors over the course of 2 years and was told by each that I either had nothing wrong with me, my ailments were all in my head or that they couldn't do anything for me and I would live out the rest of my life in pain and confusion. My wife had heard about Progressive and decided to do the new patient tour without me (as I was bed ridden by this time) and returned home excited. I could tell from the first appointment with the doctor that this place was different from any other I had been to. They listened to what I had to say, looked me in the eye as I was talking, and didn't rush me out so they could get to their next appointment. I was immediately given a treatment plan that was adjusted as my condition required. After 2 years of searching for an answer, I was given one by Progressive Medical! In 3 short months I was driving again! I continued to improve under their care and haven't looked back since. This place is super comprehensive, so at first it does seem confusing because all that is going on inside one building. (Which is another great attribute. You don't have to drive all over town to see different doctors and get different treatments.) I hate to think what my life would be like today if my wife hadn't taken that patient tour and insisted I go. They gave my wife her husband back, my kids their father, and me my life! more

DO NOT go if you have Cancer!!! Great place to go to Restore your Immune System but Do Not Go if you have Cancer!\r Was excited and had such high hopes after meeting with Dr Bouquette and Dr Agolli. Extensive testing was done to identify immune system deficiencies. Began Jan 2, 2013 on a 30 day detox, with lots of supplements purchased (additional costs above treatment amount) and given diet restrictions for that time frame.\r But at the end on the 30 days there was NO Strategy going forward to address fighting the cancer. I had to call several times to ask ..What now?? Never met with Oncologist on staff or any other staff relating to or regarding my cancer!!! Got scheduled to see a doctor 3 weeks later to go over test results and then a month and a half later was told to go have surgery. By then the tumor and cancer around it had grown. The Oncologist that was on staff has since retired and there appears to be no true staff to provide services or strategies to help you if you have cancer. DO NOT go if you have Cancer! If you are looking for an integrated effort of building your immune system with a definitive fighting of cancer strategy ... I would not suggest Progressive.\r more

I was so excited to finally get help with my thyroid, weight and hormones, that I cried through the first visit! I had no idea it was going to cost so much for the tests but my husband was texting me to ""go for it"", we'll make payments! It began immediately, I was feeling horrible after beginning a new detox and desperately tried for a week to get a Dr to return my calls. I took myself off of all supplements when Dr. Matilone finally called, 9 days later. (he also told me that brown rice has gluten in it and not to eat it). My next visit consisted of hormone testing, finally, and hundreds of dollars more. (which I believed I already paid for). Three weeks after sending my PAP results, that I had done at another office and sent the results to them, I still hadn't received a prescription nor results. I emailed yet another letter, making 4-5 emails begging for help, and someone there called a random Pharmacy with my prescription. They called me and were happy to transfer to my area. I'm still getting the run around. 4 weeks later I still don't have my results and I still have no Dr to ask questions of. They will NOT return a call nor an email. Now I cry because I'm so stressed and lost!!! I wish I never went there! more

Went for weight loss issue. \r \r Started out GREAT, two 3 hour visits. First visit, the staff was very attentive, Dr looked me over and came up with a few observations, good. Second 3 hour visit, the staff went over all the results very thoroughly and prescribed ~400 in their supplements and said stop eating Gluten. ~cost $400 in supplements and $2k on my part, ~12K billed to insurance\r Then not so great. From there the service and response goes downhill fast. No single person to ask a question, just send email to nurse. I had to request 3 times the results of a follow test to see if thyroid is working and what they finally sent was a screen shot of the results. What i requested was ""Can you read those and let me know if my it has improved or not and if not what you would like to do next""\r \r Overall, I feel better since not eating Gluten but still having weight issues and don't really know what's causing it. more

What can I say about Progressive Medical....\r \r Their medical service may be ""progressive"", but their billing/administrative service seems to be in the dark ages. While the doctors were friendly and they did identify my issues, I received no follow-up AT ALL when I simply did not make another appointment. My last appointment was in Sept. 2011. On 5/31/12, the billing dept called for payment. They did not want to allow me time to get documentation from my parents' insurance company, so that I can know what the insurance paid. Other complications were present in my situation, but the main thing is that they seemed to wait patiently for the insurance company to pay during 8 consecutive months but they were not willing to be patient with me for more than one month.\r \r Since I wrote the review, the billing department was authorized to allow me more time to finish payment. Payment has been completed and I have no more issues with them. more

I believe people want a magic pill and everything will be alright. I am a RN and this place is the best. They know what they are saying and they are not going to treat something without knowing the cause (hence all the testing). I've invested in many things in my life but this is best investment so far. Yes, the price of the testing can be a bitter pill to swallow. However, my health is worth that price. I love Dr. Agolli and Dr. Rick Abbott, (acupunturist). more

I would advice people NOT to go to Progressive. They charge you entirely too much $150.00 for a 20 minute visit and then they want you to take $4,000.00 worth of tests. UNBELIEVEABLE. The doctor I seen was not very personable, arrogant and didn't know what he was talking about. He had no recent tests result to go by; therefore he was guessing on everything. \r \r Something is terribly wrong with Progressive. more

We decided to go to Progressive after I heard their ad on the radio station, The Fish. We'd seen a total of eight MD's, Specialists, etc., all of which preformed test after test on my daughter but came to no conclusion as to what was wrong with her. When we walked into Progressive, the place was busy but every staff member looked us in the eye and smiled. We went through the new patient orientation and tour, with Progressive's founder Dr Agolli. It was only after our orientation that I knew I had made the right decision. After a couple weeks of testing, they had diagnosed a Thyroid problem that no one else could. Two months later, my daughter is a new kid, without having to go through chemical or one invasive procedure, and I'm Progressive's biggest cheerleader. Their approach is like nothing I've ever seen before and has forever changed how I view the way to go about healing in the body.
