Bill French was referred to me by a friend. I got several quotes for A/C. He was competitively priced. did a great job installing. Gave me the first annual inspection free. I had a problem two years later. Called him at 7pm on a Saturday night. Not only did they answer the phone. He came out sunday morning and fixed the problem. He's a strong personality. Bill French was at my house on a 3/31/2012

Bill French was at my house on a Saturday within an hour. After a brief explanation from me he diagnosed the problem instantly and fixed it saving me the cost of a new water heater and expensive duct work. I was charged for a service call and that was it! I will recommend this company and Bill French in particular to all my friends. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT CALL JACK HOWK PLUMBING FOR ANYTHING. They were going to charge $1450.94 for a job that wasn't even necessary!!! more

After calling Premier heating, I spoke 2/24/2012

After calling Premier heating, I spoke with Bill French who was at my house in an hour. After fixing my furnace Mr. French asked if there was anything else he could help with. I did mention about heat not getting to one of the rooms very well. Well Bill went above and beyond and crawled under our house to visually inspect our duct. I was highly impressed with with Bill French's work ethic and prices. I highly recommend Premier Heating and Air. For prompt, courteous, and very reasonable service. more

An Awful Experience 12/1/2010

Normally, I like to hire contractors through references, and Premier's Bill French was recommended to me by the Realtor who helped us purchase our home. We were in the market for a big-ticket item: a new furnace. My experience was - hands down - the worst, most unpleasant interaction I've had with a fellow contractor. I left a message with a woman at the office when I first called. It went unreturned for over a week. I called for a second time and left a message explaining that I would really like to consider hiring them for our new furnace and requesting that they call me back. He did return this message, saying they must have taken the number down wrong, because he got a strange recording on the first attempt, and the number was disconnected on the second try (??). During this call, he said he'd be able to meet with me that day but he'd have to call me back within an hour to set up a time. Over an hour and a half later: nothing. I called back, told the woman I hadn't heard anything, and asked if I could get an appointment time to plan my errands around. She called back with a half hour window in the afternoon, which I agreed to. The window came and went. I called shortly afterward to see what his status was. The response? The woman gives a little laugh, as though it's ridiculous for me to be calling so soon after he's due to arrive. ""I'll check with him and call you back."" Five minutes later, Bill drove up. He seemed friendly enough and asked me how I was doing. I told him I was a little frustrated, mostly with the trouble I'd had communicating with his company over the phone. I added that, as a business owner myself, I try to give people a heads-up when I know I'm running late for an appointment. He looked straight at me, said, ""Well, have a good day,"" turned around, and closed the door in my face! I stepped out after him and asked what had just happened. He told me this obviously wasn't going to work out. I explained that I was trying to provide constructive criticism, something I value from my own customers. He said, ""I don't do constructive criticism."" With that, he turned his back to me, got in his van, and drove away. I was left absolutely shocked at how rude and aggressive this man was, and by his complete inability to maturely accept honest feedback from a customer. He and his office staff showed a near total lack of professionalism, on the phone and (especially) in person. Shortly after he left, I was in tears. What a bully. more

No warmth here. 2/24/2010

Premier was the selected company to perform a furnace replacement at a home I purchased. It ceased working properly within days of the original install. The first call yielded a great response from Bill French for which I was initially thankful for until the furnace quit working again. I called a few times only to learn that the offices were closed (around the holidays). There was no message to alert customers of their closure. Bill French never showed to any subsequent appointment. He made commitment after commitment, and never followed through. I called many times, and finally received a call back only to hear that even though we were without heat, once he knew I was calling often, he put me on the back burner and avoided me, so did his staff. He finally did show to fix it one last time offering to leave me a complimentary filter ($50 value) for my trouble. No filter found, and now the furnace is out again, even with a couple of already replaced parts, with no calls back from Premier or Bill. Pros: Tells you what you expect to hear Cons: Does not stand behind his own work more

Highly Recommended!!! 9/10/2009

I had Premier come to my house for a bid on a new heating system. He did a thorough inspection, explained what would work best and HOW it would work. Was extremely professional and kind. He explained all the options including pricing. I was extremely impressed, having just had a bid from Jacobs who spent maybe 5 minutes and quoted 10,000. Go with Premier! Pros: Bill French was fantastc! Cons: Nothing more

Grateful for warmth! 12/5/2008

It was 34 Degrees outside this morning. The house was a 60 degrees and falling. The furnace wasn't kicking on. We contacted Premier since we had a favorable experience this summer when they installed our new Air Conditioning. They were out at the house within an hour and a half. Found the problem fixed it and the house was warm in no time. I think that more often when we receive exceptional service we don't get around to expressing our gratitude. I have recommended Premier to friends, family and neighbors. Their products are quality, their prices are compettive, and my experience with their service has been exceptional. more

Not recommended 8/5/2008

We've had work done with Premier and the installation of a vent pipe was done incorrectly. I've been calling for two months now, trying to get Bill French to come back, but so far nothing. We did have an appointment the other day and the receptionist said he was 'running late' and would call back to tell us when he would show up. He never showed up. We waited all day and never got a call - I had to call back and the receptionist Bree said she would call back, but hasn't so far. more

This was our 2nd time using Premier Heating and once again we were very pleased. we were in the process of adopting and in a time crunch Premier got the job done right away. They were very accommodating. more

Unimpressed and without heat. 1/24/2007

I had a very poor experience with Premier. Their product- the furnace they installed- seems fine and looks good. However, I was promised space heaters and a specific end date to their work, neither of which I got. I left repeated messages at their office, none of which were returned. When I finally did reach the owner, Bill French, on his cell phone, he cussed at me, yelled at me, and hung up. All I wanted was space heaters- which I'd been promised in the beginning and throughout the process- and thus we were left without heat in our house for over a week. He didn't return any phone calls after that phone call either. I wish I would have gotten their promises in writing- that's my fault. However, I would recommend you go with a company owner by someone older or more in-tune with what customers want. Pros: Good pricing. Initially friendly service. Cons: Owner with a temper who didn't keep his word. more
