Positive Progression, Incorporated

In January 2015 I was in a very bad place in life. I was a daily drinker and often blacked out. If it where not for the help of katy Mc Dowell and her staff I would most defiantly still be suffering in the disease broke and borderline homeless. I drank to the point of no return and had to be placed in intensive care at Good Sam. katy visited me daily and welcomed me into her home. My drinking span was over 3 decades expanding to the point of hopelessness in the last 5 years. Drinking over a bottle a day of vodka morning through night fall. I was extremely depressed sick and at my point of no return. That all changed the day I checked myself into Positive Progression. I learned about addiction and how it destroys a persons life. I had a very successful real estate career 2 beautiful children and an amazing life. Sadly I drank it all away. I was hopeless all I cared about was the next drink. Career and family where all but destroyed. Upon checking in I soon realized it could all be repaired. In the last 6 months I have been given a 2nd chance. My career is back on track and family relations have been restored. I now enjoy life and can actually contribute back to society. I was at the bottom, complete despair and horrible anxiety. I was using to get relief and could not get any. I became addicted and could not function. Dr. Callaway was so kind and talked of his recovery over 30 years. I now have 7 years clean! This place is the best, you will love it! They have a wonderful chef that cooks organic, they really care unlike the other places I went to that didn't work and had all kinds of drama and stress. You can do it, you deserve to do it! We went and looked at a bunch of rehabs in this place by far was the most professional. Very clean and well-kept. My dad was a chronic alcoholic for years and nothing worked and he has been sober for over 8 years now. This place is by far the best and his life and family has been totally restored. My friend was a chronic drug addict and for over 20 years. He was severely addicted and his mother hadn't seen him and told her best friend I don't think I will ever see him alive again. He was going to commit suicide but at the last minute he went to this program over five years ago and has stayed sober and working now. Positive Progression is a quality place with quality recovery. It is beautiful with 24 hour coverage with professional staff. They have integrity, do excellent treatment and were incorporated in 1989 helping families in distress. I highly recommend this facility. more

This is an awesome place to get recovery. Not like the bigger facilities were you all packed in and is all kinds of drama it's quiet it's peaceful they really pay attention to your needs and the place is really peaceful. You get a lot of individualized treatment and the staff is awesome with a lot of recovery of their own It's a beautiful facility with flowers, a huge pool, and it's kept up very nicely. Nothing worked for me and I'm still sober and grateful more

Recovery is the process of relearning to do life the right way. And you need a professional clinical team that is dedicated to see patients get the best service. I recommend a more established facility....A former employee! more
