Plush Home

Plush home was the best experience I have had during the redecorating of my house. The owner Ellie was very helpful, and made a beautiful custom bed from home treasures. This order only took 3 weeks and turned out beautifully. The store had wonderful music playing and friendly salespeople. Many candles, towels, pillows, bedding ideas, picture frames, and vases. This is my favorite store, and have told many of my friends to go. more

My recent experience at Plush Home was very pleasant, accommodating and enjoyable. I visit Houston about once a month and really enjoy exploring all of the wonderful shopping opportunities available. Despite visiting this lovely shop after enjoying a feast of boiled crawfish (a little smelly) my friends and I were made to feel welcomed and appreciated during our visit. Ellie assisted me with ordering 2 linen shams, probably not the largest sale of the day yet I was treated as if it were. Ellie provided me with extensive information related to the fabric selection, color and size options for these particular shams. The shams arrived at my home about 3 weeks after I placed the order, just as promised. The shams are a nice addition to my bedding and will be enjoyed for a long time. I look forward to my next visit to Houston and defiantly plan on stopping by Plush Home; I am sure Ellie has a little something in her shop that I need! I went to buy some bedding and like the other reviewer, the customer service is HORRIBLE. The owner is RUDE and a LI-AR. A lot of the products they sell are all available online through other vendors. They have a very limited selection and if you decide to order a different size or something that is on display and not in the store, they consider that a ""special order"" and will not even give you a store credit if the product doesn't match. BE WARNED, there are too many other places to buy bedding then deal with the sniffy no personality having people at this rip-off store.. Pros: If you like boring ma-ma bedding. I was a frequent shopper at this place spending a large sum of money until I had to return a defective product. The owner, Ellie, treated me so badly that I had to question why anyone goes to this place. Despite one of her employees supporting my decision to return the product, Ellie proceeded to roll her eyes at me in front of the employee. I have never been treated so badly, especially in a store that I frequented on a regular basis. She clearly does not care about her customers and does not comprehend the concept of customer service. The prices are high and with such horrible customer service, I would tell everyone to save the trip. There are numerous chic places in Houston that offer amazing products at more reasonable prices with excellent customer service.
