WORST DEALERSHIP I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED 12/30/2011

honestly, i've never felt less important as a customer in my whole life...i'm almost 48 by the way. i agree w/others who say employees & friends are the ones writing good reviews. i have alot of reasons to say bad things. i was lied to the very 1st time i called. sales guy (ET...should phone home & go back there for good) was a jerk & so was the GSM (aaron smith). the car i bought was not ready to be sold...no manual, 1 key, no door code & the make ready was the worst. then i waited for 2 months for an owner's manual which i feel like i only FINALLY got b/c i wrote a letter to Randall Reed. i totally regret buying from them. GO SEE BILL FICK @ HENSON in Madisonville, he is GREAT!! only reason i didn't buy from him in the 1st place is that he just didn't have the car i wanted...DAMMIT!!!! more

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED .... DO NOT DO BUSINESS 12/19/2011

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED .... DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH RANDALL REED PLANET FORD Mr. (MANAGER), 11-29-2011 Your employees do not stick to there agreements and try to defraud customers. I drove 100 miles all the way from Katy to your Humble store only to be lied to and was being pressured to pay a hidden charge of about $1200 more than agreed. Someone over there should be fired. Your staff is awful. ALL these guys made me a promise to sell me : VIN # 3FAHP0HA7CR224386 for a competitive matched price of $18595 +$295 +TTL including adding backup sensors. ALL three of the bad internet salesmen above swore to me, on the phone, and in email before I drove 100 miles, that we had a deal and that there would be no further price discussion. Before I went to the dealership, I called the main number after the internet salesmen said it was a deal in an email, at $18890, and they agreed they would include the additional backup sensors and I asked to speak to the Sales Manager to confirm the deal. The sales manager confirmed the deal. When I got there and sat down with the internet salesman, he started with a 18755 price? and then said the TTL + documentation fee of 149 total additional would be $2651 (should have been closer to $1487), and wanted me to sign a piece of paper agreeing with a total of $21406. He got upset when I ask him how he got the additional $2651 and he said ""That was the deal"". I told him to show me how he got that $2651 and he said I would see it on the papers when they were drawn up after I signed his paper. They tried to add on and hide the additional $1164 saying it was standard fees!! They knew that they were going to try to pull this trick on me before I ever left home. I went to the Manager in the main building to talk to the manager on duty. The sales manager did the same thing, He knew this was a scam and would not give me a break down of the TTL and other charges making up the $2651 add on. The other four supervisory employees sitting at the desk with sales manager were smiling and grinning and chuckling. They all knew this was standard practice of cheating their customers. I wonder how they would feel when they get treated the same way. Shame on Randall Reed Ford in Humble Texas. Is this what you want your dealerships known for? See the TRUTH and REAL REVIEWS for Randall Reed?s Planet dealerships by googling PLANETFORD.YOLASITE Shame on Randall Reed Ford in Humble Texas. This is their work culture of trying to slip in hidden charges and cheat customers. I sent email to the Manager (Kramer), and then talked to the Sales Manager, Anson Jones the next day and he agreed they have problems. They cannot meet their sales quotas because their customers that are paying attention are wise to their inflating the drive out final cost and walk away. Their ""Customer Benefits Package"" is ALWAYS added to the bottom line without the customers knowledge or consent. Apparently, this ""Customer Fleecing Package"" is an invention of Randall Reed Ford in Humble, Texas. The internet salesmen are especially unethical and the three below have no business working at any place that values their reputation. They write in all sorts of imaginary charges on the Retail Purchase Agreement and will not explain why they are there. They agree to a sales price and then add charges to the bottom line and try to force the customer to sign. more

Very unprofessional and dishonest 3/8/2009

Definitly a deceitful dealer. Aparently this chick Elaine gets people to come over by phone. Once you show up the excuse I got is that she was tied with paper work. When I asked the manager if what she had told me about price was the truth, he said it didn't make any sense and gave me a sarcastic smile. I adviced them it must have been a misunderstanding and walked away while being screamed at by the manager that I don't make any sense even though their own sales lady Elaine had just spoke with me twice in the last 15 minutes over the phone. Pros: Big Selection Cons: Dishonest, unprofessional, false marketing, rude managers, tricky sales tactics more

Don't Go to Planet Ford off of I-45 in Spring 10/13/2008

Well, my Car was involved in an accident. It took Over a MONTH to get itt back...and the date to pick up my car on changed 3 times. Ridiculous! Pros: Nice receptionist Cons: Staff, Friendliness, Promptness, Reliability, Validity, Takes WAYYY to long to fix a car, in general it is a bad place to go more

Unreal (but not in a good way) 5/30/2008

My brakes failed on my truck, fluid gushing from the wheel and a visibly split hose. It happened about an hour from home so I was stranded. I had my truck towed to Planet Ford and they treated me about as badly as I have ever experienced: poor communication from service advisors, wrong information, lies that resulted in inconvenience, and added expense to me. They wanted $700 for a $200 job done by Brake Check in Humble (these guys were great!). I am still waiting to hear from the service advisor who is obviously too busy or unconcerned to return my call. They have made no effort to resolve my issues with their service. Try your luck? Pros: like a spider web...easy to find Cons: once ensnared you know what's coming next more
