THE YUMMIEST PIZZA 12/6/2002

We recently visited Pizza Man after reading the review in Bon Appetite and LOVED the pizza. My husband has been having withdrawals (I went for the wine selection and loved the pizza) and now I have frantically been trying to recreate the yummy crust and load it with all the same great toppings! We rank this as the BEST pizza we have ever had! Pros: inexpensive, good parking, YUMMY Cons: none, none, none more

Pizza Man Rocks! 12/5/2002

Pizza Man is a great place - and the pizza itself is only one of the reasons. I've been going there regularly for over 15 years. They have a great wine list. The wild boar ravioli is to die for. I highly recommend the ""split decision"" if you're in the mood for ribs - and i also love the cream cheese and crab pizza. I know that combo sounds odd but everyone I know who has ever tried it thought it was the best pizza they ever had. Pros: Great wine list, Reasonably priced, Wild boar ravioli! The atmosphere is great in this rustic restaurant. The pizza is probably the best I have ever had. Their extensive wine list, and knowledgeable staff make this an excellent place for a date or for dinner with friends/family. more

Man, this is the best pizza I've had outside Chicago. They key here is their great wine selection. The servers are also pretty knowledgeable about the wine list, which can be overwhelming. They will happily narrow down the selections for you, and I've always been happy with their choices. One suggestion: try not to get seated by the door. Cons: parking, crowded more

Milwaukee's best local pizza 5/13/2002

While in college, I lived on the east side of Milwaukee, close to Pizza Man, for nearly five years. My roommates and I swore by this pizza (when we could afford it) its thin and crispy crust is the best youll find in town. The ambiance and decor here is particularly cozy. A great date spot.
