Ok, so Im kinda a newbie at this whole waxing thing. But I have to say I really really like Pink Cheeks. The place is adorable! The rooms are so cute and colorful. The place just feels relaxing. So the first time I went there, I had andrea and they put me in their little VIP room. So cool! It was fast. Im not going to lie and say its pain-free, but no where on the planet will you find a FULL bikini wax thats pain free. So thats not pink cheeks fault. Oh. My. Gosh. Don't do it. Super Overrated. Great for pornstars. Horrible for amatuers. I got it done, i went for it, took me about 24 years but i did it. It was brutal. My waxer was in a hurry and telling me she was running late to vegas. Thanks beeoch. So while she had me on all fours it was super weird and painful. So i left, broke, and in pain. A few days later, bam. My vageen swelled up like a catcher's mitt. Old broken in catcher's mitt. Brutal. I called them to ask wtf is wrong with my vag and they could care less. The receptionist couldn't even tell me what wax they used or anything else. Im going to tell Oprah and make tons. Save yourself and your precious cargo. Gross. I swear to you Ive never had a better wax in my life... Yes the wait can be insane, but if you go on a week day its not bad, I walked in and I walked out when I went last. The pain was minimal, the service was impecable and face it this is LA sometimes you just have to wait around for the best.. Cons: zero cons more

This review is actually towards Andrea because she is the only one i go to for waxing. I must say that although she is young she is a PRO - seriously, i wouldnt trust anyone else but her and i am so glad i found her! Every experience i've had was a good one - she is extremely skilled and tries to make the whole thing quick and as painless as possible. Waxing hurts - especially a full bikini - but when Andrea does it the pain is not nearly as bad as you expect and she does it so quick! i swear i am out of there in less than 10 minutes and the end result always looks flawless! I have had waxing in the past from others than left me with terrible bumps & irritation, but with Andrea i NEVER have that and my skin always stays smooth. The results last for a very long time before I have to go back. She knows how to talk to you to keep your mind off the pain and she has never made me feel uncomfortable or embarassed - and everyone who has been waxed down there before knows that it is not a very comfortable situation. Also, Andrea's room is a lot larger and lighter than the other rooms and she always keeps it clean and tidy. The wait at pink cheeks could be up to 45 minutes but that is during the busy hours (in the afternoon when everyone is off work) so just try to get there in a less busy time and you shuoldnt wait too long. I HIGHLY recommend to make an appointment with her - she is the BEST! more

I came to Pink Cheeks for a bikini wax after hearing rave reviews, and was unfortunately disappointed. Although she was quick, my waxer was definitely not very thorough, and also left my skin very irritated. It wasn't worth the price (especially considered to other salons in the LA area) or the hype, although I did appreciate not having a long wait (I did make an appointment). Pink Cheeks is the only place I'll go to get my vajay-jay waxed! Of course, it is quite personal to have someone that close to your goods. Usually only the gynecologist or my man get that close. However, I TOTALLY trust Cindee at Pink Cheeks. She is very professional and fast when it comes to making me hair-free. I am so happy that my friend recommended the place to me for my first full playboy wax a few years ago. That is just not an area where you want someone to be novice at waxing. Pink Cheeks is still the best place on the planet to get a wax. I was a customer of Pink Cheeks years ago and have lived all over the country and Europe trying many different salons, but still make the special trip back here to see Cindy at Pink Cheeks for my waxing. My fiance is all for it as well, he prefers Cindy's work to anyone elses. The salon is always cheerful, upbeat, festive and has great snacks! There's a reason for the wait, it's well worth it, trust me. Once you try Pink Cheeks once, you'll be hooked. The wax is painless, easy and Cindy makes you feel like you're at your best girlfriend's having a chit chat, before you know it, it's done! I highly recommend Pink Cheeks to anyone and everyone. I LOVE PINK CHEEKS & EVERY VISIT. I can't think of 1 bad thing to say & have never expierenced something that could stop me from going there. 1st visit i was scared! They did everything short of hug me 2 calm & let me know it would b fast, a lil pain but worth it. Now i know there is a wait sometimes. BUT its not like I havent been one 2 cause cindy to run a bit late B4, & im sure it effects the whole day! When Im in a rush they're always willing to switch me 2 another girl w/ time if i dont mind NOT seeing Cindy! Thats why i must bring up the fact that I've seen countles wait for a long time no problem because they simply WONT go 2 any1 else. Once U have seen her, You'll understand! Pros: EVERYTHING more

This is a great place for a brazilian wax. I have visited on numerous occassions and I always have a good experience. The staff is very nice. My wax was quick and efficient and fairly painless. more

1) Receptionist is sweet. 2) I made an appointment and was shown in right at the appointment time. 3) The place smelled lovely and was very clean. 4) Andrea was my waxer. She was really understanding and kind and talked to me while she was waxing. She listened to me and was overall incredibly sweet. Although waiting can be an issue, you can't rush perfection! The staff is always so pleasant and caring. The receptionist deserve medals for all they endure and the technicians are all highly skilled. This is the only place I know of that opens at SIX IN THE MORNING for all the early birds who need a waxing service to wake them up in the morning, works better than caffeinated beverages I suppose! :) Pros: Ambience, Exceptional staff & Sanitary establishment! Not only was my bikini wax done uneven BOTH times I've been there, but they charged way too much and made be wait for 45 minutes, pass my appointment time. I could not have been happier with my experience at Pink Cheeks. I went in today for a bikini wax, something I was rather apprehensive about, because I have been to Queen Bee in Los Angeles before and I was RIPPED apart and SCARRED by some unfriendly Russian woman. I am very sensitive to waxing and am almost always reduced to tears. Cindee did the best waxing I have ever had. I cannot believe that the waxing was so painless and took less than 10 minutes (it takes normal waxers at least 20 with me). Cindee was friendly without over stepping her bounds. Even before I got my waxing I was pleasantly surprised by the cookies and candies that were set out on a complimentary tray. Not only was the atmosphere fantastic but the receptionist. a woman who looks like a super model, was the nicest person I have met in Los Angeles. I came in 10 minutes late, a big no no, and asked if she had change so I could get quarters for the meter outside, not only did she hand me 2 quarters from HER OWN WALLET she did it graciously and seemed truly happy to help. i live in new york. but i got waxed in california at pink cheeks. i'd gotten waxed by cindy when i lived in socal 2 years ago and the experience was so great i vowed to go back again. so of course when i was back in town about a week ago i made an appt w/ cindy. this last experience was even better than what i'd remembered. she was so courteous, sweet, caring, and skilled, getting waxed almost didn't hurt! (but of course getting a bikini wax is always going to hurt atleast a little.) the waxing itself was quick and clean and she got just about every little hair off (even tho the hair wasn't quite as long as it should have been). cindy really is the sweetest and friendliest woman i've ever met. and all the employees are equally as sweet and nice. (when i called to say i was going to be late, the receptionist was so sweet she told me not to worry and just get there as safe as i could!) if anyone says anything contrary to what i've written, they're lying. or they're just having a really really bad day, and cindy's perfect demeanor couldn't even help them. thanks so much pink cheeks!! i'll always be going back when i'm back in california!
