Great Dentist; Cheerful Atmosphere 2/7/2011

Dr. Thomason is an experienced, knowledgeable, talented dentist. She has done an incredible number of root canals (in the thousands). She saved me from having one by skillfully drilling to see if it was actually necessary. It wasn't needed--by a slim margin. Another dentist might just have done the root canal. The atmosphere at the new office in Table Mesa is courteous, friendly, spacious. Wait time is minimal. Better than it was at 4500 Darley, which was a bit cramped. I've had a problem or two in the past, but those staff personnel soon get weeded out, and problems get resolved satisfactorily. There is a cheerful atmosphere of conviviality among the dental staff. Overall I give it a 5-star. more

Yuck 4/10/2007

I had even read the other reviews by chance before I went and I thought they couldn't be that bad, but they are. They took my drivers license for identification and never gave it back, I asked them to mail it to me and they never did. more

Feel slightly better that I am not the only unlucky one 3/10/2006

I had bad experience with this dental clinic. (Almost the worst one in retrospect.)\r \r I had my night guard made there. Poor manufacture quality --- I had to do another 2 follow-up visits to have repaired; poor customer service --- they provided me misleading insurance information so that eventually I paid the night guard out of my own pocket.\r \r Save your trip. more

Poor customer service, unprofessional 2/8/2006

I chose this dentist because it would be covered under my dental insurance plan. When my husband visited for the first time he mentioned that about 20 yrs ago he had a 'deep cleaning' which was mistakenly interpreted by Perfect Teeth as 'periodontal maintenance'. They scheduled him for another cleaning appointment within the 6-mo window that the insurance company uses to limit the number of routine cleanings covered per year. Perfect Teeth says "Tough luck, you signed the paper saying you'd pay for anything not covered." We paid $25 co-pay and another $55 for a cleaning that was mis-scheduled. He never needed this special designation for periodontal maintenance. They are unprofessional, cough in your face, leave you waiting, sing while they have their fingers in your month... get the idea? Save yourself the discomfort - Don't go to this place! more

AWFUL! HORRIBLE! 8/3/2005

I would NEVER go back to this dental practice. I had such a horrible experience there that I had my records transferred immediately to a different dentist. First of all, the place is dumpy. Secondly, the dentist was very curt and unfriendly. Thirdly, he said I had this huge number of cavities and one of them had to have some fancy filling procedure to fix 3 sides of the tooth. Everything was going to be hundreds of dollars. (Well, when I switched dentists I was found to have one very minor cavity that cost me nothing out of pocket to fill.)Fourth, they wouldn't even do a cleaning on the same day as your checkup, which I find REALLY inconvenient. But the thing that really made me realize this was a horrible place was that the employees obviously hated it. I think they knew they were working in a place that gouged and scammed customers. The receptionist was especially sheepish. The doctors obviously treated all the employees very poorly. I felt really disgusted when I left there and kne more
