Paws 4 Grooming

The work done here is amazing. I have two hard to handle yorkie pup mixes and they HATE being groomed in any way. They mat very easily and take a lot of work to keep looking and feeling well. Monique was the first groomer who ever worked on my dogs, they looked great every time. I took them to a local groomer five minutes away one time because my they get car sick. The result were terrible. They did my dogs in about an hour, they charged about $20 more and looked like they got in a fight with a lawn mower! I like that she allows well-behaved animals to play with each other and doesn't automatically cage them for hours. They do take their time here. I don't care! This means they are being thorough and not jerking my dogs around because they feel like they are on a dead-line. Don't expect to pick them up in an hour or two. She is busy but gives each animal the proper time. Just think how long it'd take YOU to: wash, pluck ears, clip, wash again, condition, blow dry, brush, clip nails, etc. on your own. It's not fast food! They are my babies, do it right! Monique does it right and they look great every time! Not too many places are willing to wash and shave a cat! They have always been very good with my animal and are fairly priced. Never had a bad experience waiting on them. more

My dog's appt. was made 10 days prior. Appt. was for Sat. at 9 am. When I walked in two dogs were on tables, three others were in crates and a fourth was tethered to a crate. I told them who he was. She could not find his prior visit paperwork. She told me 2-3 hrs and would call upon his completion. 3 1/2 hrs later still no word. 4 1/2 hrs later and no response to calls made. Went straight to machine. We went up to the groomers and she had still not begun him, yet dogs who were after him were done and gone!!! He sat tethered to the door handle. She said she would get to him next and it would be another hour. We left without having him groomed and I am devastated. I feel this was poor business on her part and will not frequent there again and warn others against it. What is the point of an appointment if its not honored. I feel her treatment of my dog (and even the poor others that were still waiting) was HORRIBLE... BOO!!! Monique, you should be ashamed!!! more

They are courteous, great with the dogs, and are very reasonably priced. It is a pleasure to go into thier shop. My dog likes it also, and he LOVES the Ladies. I recommend this place to everyone. Pros: Great with the animals, friendly, very reasonably priced. Cons: I can't hink of any. more
