Consistently excellent food and service! 10/29/2011

Great food in a casual atmosphere. Family restaurant with a low-key but pleasant ambiance. Service is consistently good, food is awesome. Not like mother used to cook, but that's to be expected. Portion sizes guarantee leftovers. The one time I had an issue with my order (out of many times my wife and I have eaten here), I addressed it with a manager and they fixed it pronto. more

JOKE OF A PLACE 9/11/2011

Black kinky hair made me lose my appetite! 12/13/2010

The black kinky hair about three inches long in the limp cold french fries that one of my dinner companions found tonight in their food made me lose my appetite. I couldn't eat another bite. Of course the person who FOUND the hair got a free dinner, but the restaurant doesn't take into consideration the other diners. I totally was sick to my stomach and nauseous and couldn't eat another bite. I won't be back. more

Layers and layers of Spam. 1/20/2010

I would just recommend anyone who frequents this place not to try the Gyro Wrap. Their mixture of Lamb and Beef turned out to be some sort of slices of meat that I can only describe as Spam (sorry). I got mine to go and could not eat it. I tried one small pinch of this weird looking meat, I tasted the spices right away but I don't think it was real meat. I was expecting a real Gyro, one with shaved meat, So for $7.00 my dog had a tasty lunch, he says thanks. Pros: Lot's of parking Cons: Expensive-(Spam is suppose to be cheap!) more

Distgusting Food + Atrocious Service = Pasta Bella 8/8/2008

Don't be fooled by the other reviews: the food and the service are deplorable. The only positive part of the meal included the free garlic rolls and Greek salad (which was very good). We should have stopped at that point and asked for our check. I had the Italian sampler. I guess the Pasta Bella guru's think that bland tomato sauce and cheep mozzarella piled in huge portions can make overcooked pasta taste authentic. The mystery meat in the lasagna reminded me of canned dog food, only not as tasty. Here's a hint to the cooks: try using fresh ingredients and shortening the circus-sized menu. My fiance had the Mardis Gras Penne. THE biggest waste of $18 I have ever experienced. Dried out, over-spiced, over-salted chicken and shrimp on top of overcooked pasta drowning in "white sauce." Who eats this trash? The Italian sausage and strips of sun-dried tomatoes were salvagable at least. She unfortunately had to stop eating after the first 8-9 bites because the mere saltiness of the dish made her ill. I felt my blood-pressure spike after biting into one of her shrimp. The service was even worse than the food. A tall, awkward manager took us to our table without saying a word. We were then waited on by "Unibrow" Luigi, who was pleasant until he left the restaurant unannounced, leaving us without a waiter for about 30 minutes. A manager came to our table and could tell we were perturbed, so he said he would bring us some boxes. 15 minutes later...no boxes, no manager. We finally had a table cleaner get us some boxes and our check. But wait, here comes Unibrow Luigi in his Pontiac! He gets out of his car, comes to our table and asks, "How was the food?" My fiance sarcasticly responded with, "Umm, pretty good." He smiled, quickly left us and darted back inside. Simply unexcusable, 99% of the population would have been fired for an antic like that! Shame on the managers, the cooks, Luigi, and on the owners of Pasta Bella. $44 for an unforgettably bad meal. Pros: Huge portions, great Greek salad Cons: The food, management, waitstaff...did I mention the food? more

Best Italian 5/11/2008

I really enjoyed the dining here. The Chef came over to give samples of dishes he is considering to add to the menu. The portions are way more than enough. Prompt service. Great staff. Pros: Great experience Cons: Parking can be a problem on a busy night. more

You couldn't ask for much more! 2/23/2008

I love this restaurant. It is truly one of the best establishments in the area, and for casual Italian dining, it can't be beat. The menu is an awesome array of Greek and Italian pastas, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and more. The portions are huge and are a good value. Your meal comes with garlic rolls and sausage and peppers in marinara. And the deserts are sure to please your eyes and taste buds. The service is accommodating without being pushy. It seems so much more warm and genuine than your average chain restaurant. I have never had a bad experience here. Pros: great food, service, value Cons: can be busy at peak times more

Best Pizza 11/27/2007

We recently ordered a pizza for take out and we were told it would be ready within 30-45min, you were absolutely correct, when I got there it was ready I didn't have to wait it was truely great service. Pros: thumbs up more

Pasta Perfect! 5/19/2006

This is one of our favorite places to dine. Not only are the portions outrageous, the service is beyond reproach. The night manager greets you at your table, and often surprises you with plates of complimentary appetizers or desserts. Each meal begins with delicious garlic rolls served with a bowl of sausages and peppers in a marinara sauce for dipping. Value-wise, you cannot beat Pasta Bella. The food never disappoints, and the desserts will knock your socks off! Try the Rasberry, white chocolate cheesecake....WOW. Pros: Price/Value, Portion Size, Service more

Unassuming Italian Treat 2/19/2005

My husband and I were looking for a nice, but casual, Italian restaurant, and found it in Pasta Bella. The decor is tastefully done, the music quiet and relaxing, the service is efficient, and the portions are huge. Dinners come with their amazing jumbo garlic rolls and salad (your choice - house, Caesar or Greek). I had the Penne ala Vodka, and my husband had the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, and both were delicious. The menu has a rather large listing of Italian and Greek specialities, as well as steaks, pizzas and subs. We definitely plan a repeat visit soon! Pros: food quality, atmosphere, service Cons: none more

WOW!!! 1/14/2005

The food and service was great, but I really couldn't believe the deserts. more
