A testimonial for Jeremie and Shane's great team custo 6/16/2011

Hello,\r \r We just wanted to let you know that we absolutely love everything about our new kitchen! Of course, we will bring in pictures or send them via e-mail, but we are ""over-the-top"" thrilled with the results. Thank you ALL so much for the creating such a wonderful design, helping us with the best selections, providing great subcontractors, and finishing ahead of schedule! Family, friends, neighbors, and the people in my yoga and cooking classes have been interested in our kitchen remodel and they are so impressed with your project quality, workmanship, and costs. \r \r A million ""thanks"" are simply not enough! Huntwood and the Parr sales team make the difference! 6/16/2011

The largest reason I purchased these cabinets was my salesperson. He was so charasmatic in his explanation of the quality and durability that I made it a priority to check them out. \r \r We had planned on remodeling but was not sure as to whether we would fully replace or try to put a band-aid on the cabinets ie. re-face or re-finish. I had over a dozen cabinet and counter representatives come through my kitchen and give me their bids. Then my contractor said we should take a trip over to Parr Cabinet in Tacoma and talk to them, as he had always had good dealings with them.\r \r I couldnt have been happier! Chris Knowles at Parr sat with me and my contractor Paul for over 2 hours going over the layout, color, options, the works. I left there knowing that I would buy Huntwood cabinets for my kitchen, I was able to see them in their showroom, check out the solid construction and see the quality for myself, plus I was able to get full extension drawers and soft glide as the promotion!\r \r I know this speaks very highly of my salesperson and maybe less about the cabinetry but I believe they go hand in, hand, I would have never known of the quality of these cabinets had I not walked into Parr, I had never heard of them before then, and they are made in the USA to boot, which is so very important to me and my family!\r \r As my kitchen is new to me I am still """"product testing"""" but so far I am a very happy customer.\r more

OUTLET PRICING WITH QUALITY 1/11/2011

I purchased the Huntwood cabinet line from the Parr Cabinet outlet in Fife. I had reserched many stores and found their pricing to be unbeatable. The Kemper line was my first choice but while in the decision stage the outlet added the Huntwood line. I settled on the Huntwood line and am particularly pleased with the product. I have 23 grandchildren and as any grandmother love to share my beautiful kitchen with all of them. I usually don't use the computer or internet much but my 17 year old grand daughter insisted that I share my experience with everyone. \r \r Thank you \r \r Mildred J in Federal Way more

Great prices and even better service 1/10/2011

Well last summer we finally started the long awaited kitchen remodel. We made all the stops: the big box stores, the internet, the cheap Chinese stores and the little mom and pop shops. Somehow we missed the Parr outlet until the end of our search and were glad that we had. At this point we were fairly well educated of the quality, cost and service aspects of cabinet purchasing.\r Initially we went to the Seattle location and began the design process with a most helpful salesperson Zach. When Zach realized that we were from Tacoma he cheerily informed us of the Fife location. The fact that he refered us to another location confirmed that the salespeople are noncomissioned. We thought this was the case as we felt no pressure whatsoever to purchase. The folks at Fife were just as inviting and helpful as the Seattle store. I am sorry to say that we changed our minds so many times that I had to apologize to the guys. Chris stated that an apology wasn't necessary as service was a standard of the Parr business model. We finally settled on a design and was pleased to find that Parr offered installation as well. We ordered the material, chose a contractor and began the install in September . We had one cabinet damaged out of the box and Chris reordered it immediately. We are admittedly pretty picky and 3 of the doors had little imperfections which were just grain differences. We brought this to the attention of the manager and he said that it was wood and wood has imperfections. He also ordered 3 replacement doors at no cost at the same time just to keep us happy. A few weeks later the replacement cabinet and the 3 doors were in and installed. \r Overall a complete kitchen remodel is a stressful endeavor in many aspects. Parr provided a great product, had it installed and backed it with great service.\r We hit a few obstacles but everything was taken care of in the end.\r I will definitely refer them and use them for our upcoming bath remodel as well. more

Don't do business with Parr Outlet! 1/1/2011

I liked our Parr sales person but that is the only positive comment I have about Parr Cabinets in Fife. It has taken months to get the cabinets and fridge. We still don't have all the materials promised us. We had to return 2 cabinets; 1 due to the salesman's mistake (it was an honest mistake and he owned up to it; very forgivable) and the other due to poor craftmanship. The cabinet with poor craftmanship was replaced with another type of cabinet, only to discover more sloppy workmanship. Drawers would not sit flush/parellel to the cabinet on both pieces. Ended up fixing it ourselves. (Didn't want to wait another 2 months for a replacement) It's not over yet. Too many problems to describe in this short space so I will bullet: -chip in cabinet when delivered -doors on cabinet not square - still waiting for replacement doors -refridge delivery guy dropped his dolly on our downspout....need to replace -$1700 refridgerator is not working correctly....scheduled tech to repair -Requested arched cab. doors - got straight cabs. - decided to not pursue replacement due to exhaustion and lengthy time lines -Phone calls were not returned after problems started mounting OK, I do have one other positive comment. The quality of the materials seems to be good; solid plywood and sturdy hardware. The issues seem to be mainly in the craftmanship and delivery times. Good materials do not make a good product; that is up to those assembling the cabinets. I'm hoping the company will stand behind their products and make it right. Time will tell. My advice, should you still chose to use this company.....don't pay in full until all materials have been delivered. _______________________________________ It is now Jan. 2011. We still don't have all the items we bought in April of 2010. We are on our 3rd custom cabinet and it still isn't right. The cabinet was delivered with a dent and the shelves can't be adjusted to various levels due to poor craftmanship. The Cardell rep. didn't deliver when he promised. Never called to reschedule. We had to track him down. Turns out he had our replacement cabinet stored in his garage. Too many problems to even post. But we have 9 months of email trails documenting all issues. This transacation was a nightmare in every way. I strongly advise you to avoid this company.\r \r Disliked: \r more
