I could not have asked for a better attorney to help me through a very difficult time. Mary Ann was very professional, and even when faced with utter contempt and incompetence from opposing counsel, never wavered. We ran into frequent issues with my ex-wife's attorneys, and Mary Ann kept a cool head and handled each challenge with professionalism and grace. She found us an amazing mediator that made the process smooth as butter and got us to an agreement in less time than we had planned, even in the face of difficult circumstances. She kept in constant contact with me, always forwarded me items to/from the court, and kept me more aware of what was going on with my case than my ex-wife's attorneys did. Mary Ann has been my attorney for almost two years now. She initially helped me in a child custody case. As a single father it was already an uphill battle for me. She is so slow in responding and when she does finally respond, she doesn't make sense or contradicts something she's said before. I send her 5 e-mails for everyone 1 I get back from her. I have to leave her at least 2 messages to get a response. Something another attorney told me should take 3 months has taken her almost 1 year to get finalized. I still don't know where I stand for sure. This has been a nightmare and I've wasted so much time and money just trying to figure out what's going on - without much help from her. In fact, the only thing I can say she's good at is taking my money. more

Mary Ann was recommended to me by the county attorney who handled my restraining order. The county attorney said she was well respected by lawyers and judges a like. She was very down to earth and was an exceptional listener. She fought hard for me in the court room and didn't back down a bit against a bulldog for an opposing attorney. Not only did she represent me, but she was very compassionate. She seemed genuinely interested in what was best for our child and encouraged me thru the worst time in my life. She always gave me sound advice and didn't try to suck me dry financially, like some attorneys do. She made sure I did what I needed to do in order for me to get my child back. It was a very difficult case that no one wanted to take, but she believed in me. I feel her rates were very reasonable. The other lawyers I consulted were cold and over priced. more

WORSE divorse attorney ever! You're lucky if she returns any of your phone calls. Charges $25 per fax. Do NOT recommend to anyone unless you're really desperate.GOOD LUCK..you'll need it. more

I would just like to say I think the lady who said she could not get a hold of Ms. Palmer is just upset over her divorce. Me and my family have delt with Ms Palmer for almost 2 years now and we have always been able to get a hold of her and if we leave a message she returns the call in a timely manner. I have been trying to get a hold of Maryann Palmer, my ex husband file for a divorce there in Austin Texas, I'm in California. Maryann fax me the divorce paper to sign, I did and got it notarized, she said it will only take 60 days to be final, then in Nov 2006, the secretary of Maryann Palmer calls me that I need to sign the final divorce paper, which I thought I already did, so I went ahead and sign them and fax them to her on Nove 17 06, the divorce should of been over by now, I have called her office every week and they don't return my call, and so today I called her cell, she kepted picking up the phone and hanging up on me, this happen 3 times, finally the answering machine went on, and I left her a message, I understand their busy, but they keep telling me different story and they never answer my calls, I just want my final Divorce paper sign by the Judge and fax the paper to me, MaryAnn Palmer told me over 4 month ago all this, the divorce should of been over by now, I want to start a New Year fresh, so please help me here, I will continue calling her until they answer me, I just want my divorce finalize.
