PW's Ice Cream - not what I expected 4/3/2006

From everything I'd heard, I expected to be blown away by PW's ice cream. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I found them to be very overpriced to begin with. The homemade ice cream was not creamy and melt-in-your-mouth as I hoped, but there were ice crystals throughout, which to me does not equate yummy. I have had better tasting, more reasonably priced ice cream at the chain ice creams parlors. We have tried PW's on several occasions because we like to give places a few chances before making a decision, but we haven't been back in over a year and a half, and it's unlikely we will anytime soon. more

PW's ice cream... it costs what 3/22/2006

I went to this place in Rock Hill due to a coupon in the local community book. Even with the coupon, things were pricy! The coupon was restricted enough so that you had to buy the high priced items which were almost $6 a piece (milkshakes). The place nickel and dimes you to death too! After purchasing our shakes, I asked if we could get a small water cup so I could give some shake to my toddler son. Well, they needed to charge me for the cup.. Sorry PW's... change the name to Phew! more

Great Icecream 9/2/2005

PW's is the only place to come to in Rock Hill for homeade icream and a great variety of flavors. PW's has both yogurts and icecream and lots of options. They have concretes which are icecream with candy in them. Also another pro about this icecream shop is that they put a good amount of toppings on their icecream compared to baskin robbins or tcby. This is a local icecream place located near the hospital and the staff is excellent. more

Pw's is great! 8/13/2005

Pw’s ice-cream shop is a locally owned shop. The shop serves the best homemade soft served ice-cream in all of Rock Hill. The shop was voted the back ice-cream sometime back in the 2000’s and its soft serve vanilla ice-cream was also awarded. The rich taste of the ice-cream and the friendly staff makes this small shop a hit. The dirt cups and blizzards are amazing. The shop has a pickup window and a drivethru. They are also available for catering. more
