Worst Service Department 5/18/2011

Took my car there for a simple computer reprogram on the navigation unit and received all sorts of bogus claims about leak in the trunk....which is not true, there were damp carpet mats in my trunck because I cleaned the mats myself, but the service advisor refused to listen to me and he still wrote it that way, took it back to have the same simple problem fixed, they charged me an outrageous fee and they still couldn't fix the simple problem. Do not take your car there to be serviced!!!! They are a big ripoff!!! more

Friendly and helpful 2/16/2011

I took my BMW there to get a quick checkup for a weird vibration- of course, they do have a high labor charge and only use BMW parts so if you want work done there be prepared to pay. However they charged me nothing for the diagnostic, washed my car and were friendly and accommodating throughout the experience. Definitely the only BMW dealer in Pittsburgh I will be going to, the others were unreasonably expensive and charged extra for labor that should have been included (for example, asked to have two separate problems looked into at Sewickley, charged me two diagnostics, one for each problem...$200!) more

Great Service 12/22/2009

I had a wonderful experience with the P&W service department. Ken Wilson and GM Mike did an excellent job to make sure I was taken care of. I was from out of town and they quickly helped fix a bluetooth issue w/my car. I highly recommend them especially if you are passing through and need expert advice. Great job! more

One word: terrible. 8/16/2005

Terrible. One words sums up my experiences with P&W BMW. Like all BMW deals (as opposed to Indy shops), P&W charges exorbitant rates for the simplest things. They claim to go by the "book" labor rates quoted, but everyone knows (or should know) that it takes all of 30 minutes to change a thermostat. How about charging for ACTUAL LABOR????? The quality of their work, in my experience, is average as is the case with most dealers outside of NY, MA and CT. Their sales people border on incompetent. I own 2 BMWs and have been into the dealer on a number of occasions. Never once has one approached me to ask if I needed any help. The only thing worse is the MINI Dealer, which is attached. I have my doubts as to whether not they actually are in the business of selling anything. They were all eating lunch in there one day and no one would get up to speak with me. Typical Pittsburgh. I WOULD DRIVE TO OHIO TO BUY MY NEXT BMW. more
