Organic Spatopia

I bought a Groupon for a Mani/Pedi- but after looking at all of the reviews I started to get a little worried... The individual that scheduled my appointment had not actually written it down on the date book, but they only made me wait about five minutes and got me right in. They had a decent selection of colors to choose from and I was impressed by the brands (Essie, OPI and Zoya)- in other reviews it was mentioned that they were off-brand and crappy. I was disappointed that they did not have whirlpool tubs for the feet- the given reason was that it was not as sanitary. However, once they put some unknown awesome substance in the tub, I started to not feel so bad about it. :) I think if someone were to come here looking for a "traditional" manicure and pedicure they would be disappointed. The process they do is just LESS INVASIVE- meaning- no harsh filing of the feet, very little cuticle cutting, etc. I do wish that they would have spent a little more time massaging- but THAT MASSAGE CHAIR IS AMAZING. You're pretty much laying down in a massaging lazy boy the entire process. That chair was one of the things that made me so pleased with the experience. I'm pretty sure I could just lay there for an hour and have my money worth right there! lol Also, my nails really do look amazing. They are very shiny and properly done. All in all- I really did enjoy myself. Just don't go in there thinking you're going to get buffed/picked/cut to oblivion. It's more of a "holistic" approach to nail care. (Plus- the owner makes all of the body products on site- and they smell and feel amazing!) more

I used a Groupon and had no trouble with using it here. The staff is courteous and the service very, very good. I will gladly return here. I have no complaints whatsoever! :) Shara did my nails by the way, and it looks great. more

i bought a coupon from Living Social. i booked an appointment and they canceled with less than 24 hr notice, which i am pretty sure they require costumers to give. i have not been able to reschedule. the person answering the phone keeps on pushing me to go at times that are inconvenient, not to mention she is extremely unprofessional. never once she apologized for the inconvenience. I doubt I will be able to make an appointment, will most likely try to get a refund. more

My friend and I bought a groupon to get a mani pedi together for her birthday, but never ever made it to the spa because they never wanted to accommodate us for 2 appointments. They kept pushing me to come alone or come on times and dates that were not convenient for me. They acted like they didn't care for my business. My friend even left her number so they would call for openings, and they never called. So I just got a refund and never plan on going there. more

I just had a great pedi-mani at Organic Spatopia. Very clean, all the instruments sterilized. The chairs are wonderful. My nails look and feel great. It is between Richmond and Alabama on Shepard. The sign is not huge, you have to look for it. They offer lots of specials. I will definitely go back. more

Finally found the place that i can coming for pedicure, manicure every three week without the worry have infection, fungus. Did PEPPERMINT PEDICURE last Saturday was awesome. Love the pedicure chairs, very comfortable, nice and clean. Love the way she did a very unique of cuticle remove that was very effective. Thanks Organic Spatopia.!!! more

I really enjoy coming her over and over. First off the specials are great. They always got something you can save on. Second their pedicures are really really good... they really understand your needs and are extra hygienic! Third anything that includes a massage is amazing... for instance their facials, manicure and pedicures all do. LOVE COMING HERE! In fact I just booked another appointment. more

I went in on Tuesday for spa happy hour. They are very professionally. And the spa was very clean and very modern look. They were offer me champagne and the staffs were very friendly. My manicure, pedicure look very pretty and felt good with the slice lemons and organic vanilla sea salt. I will be back in 3 weeks. Love this place!!! more

I bought the Groupon for the mani-pedi and had a fantastic experience. I went in on a Friday morning. The salon was very clean and the people who work there were lovely. I was treated very well and I felt they behaved very professionally. When I walked in they explained the nail polish selections and offered me a bottle of water. When they were finished they asked me if I wanted to keep the nail file they used on me because they discard them after each customer. They allowed me to sit and relax in the massage chair for as long as I liked so that my nails could dry. Also, my nails looks great! more

Jenny AKA Annie Ta- sold many "deals" under Organic Lotus then closed shop after many complaints and then changed her name and re-opened under a new spa name. You can google Organic Spatopia and dealfind posted a deal with her that includes reviews from both Lotus and Spatopia. New spa, awesome customer service and did a fabulous job on my nails. Place was clean, yes there are bowls of water that they clean and sanitize after each use but that is actually more sanitary than using the chairs with them. I only go to places that use bowls! And the chairs that they have are the best I've ever been in. more

It was a great place! The lady there was super nice and the atmosphere was quiet/relaxing. The massage chairs were the nicest one's I've ever seen at a salon. She also did a very unique way of cuticle removal that was much more effective and cleaner. I will definitely go there again. more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star! I give it ZERO star!!! It's FILTHY!!! It was hot like she had no money to pay for electricity. There was no receptionist, she worked by herself! There was no refreshments, no music, no ambience!!! Just dirty bowls of water and towels everywhere, and WORSE of all, the PRODUCTS ARE NOT ORGANIC!!! There was no selections of anything from polishes to lotions. This place is probably worser than one of those nail salons off any strip mall, WORSE!!! You'll be 100% disappointed. I know I was. more
