Editorial review from Citysearch 1/27/2013

I have been working as a remodeling company and a designer more than 10 years. Opustone was a ""Nightmare"", my customer was very unhappy! We choose and paid an expensive marble, and we paid Opustone's delivery to avoid problems, but the material arrived with cracks, chips, finish issues, big broken corners, and it wasn't about the delivery. We had buy 15% waste, but because of the material's problems we hadn't enough marble to finish the job , so we have to buy more. They didn't want to sell us more pieces! we have to go several times! Really it was ridiculous! BE CAREFULL!!! Don't work with them!!! more

BE CAREFUL!!! 1/31/2012

I have been working in the flooring business as a dealer for over five years. There material was not of the utmost quality. My customer was extremely dissatisfied. Opustone does not stand behind there material. Once it is delivered, you own it. Our material had golf ball size holes, chips, cracks, finish issues. These are problems you won't see unless you look at every piece of material. I do not recommended to use them at all. BE CAREFUL!!!!! more

You won't get what you pay for 9/18/2009

This business cannot be trusted to deliver the marble that is displayed in it's showroom. You will buy Cadillac and have Hyundai delivered. Once they sell it to you, it's yours regardless of your disatisfaction. \r Very poor attitude toward customers Cons: Can't be trusted to deliver product as displayed more

Be careful what you sign, please look at the marble first (outside warehouse) 12/9/2008

Opustone have a decent selection of tile. But their employees are not really friendly.I would rather buy at Santa Sosa Marble instead or Ecostone. They have better selection and they delivery what you buy. (Opustone charge too much, the phone price is no true they want you to go to the store) \r \r Please do not look at the tiles inside de warehouse , do not sign any contract. you know what is no worhty the trouble you go some where else. more

Great Service & Selection 10/10/2008

Opustone's service is great and they attend to their customers. They actually have a new slab gallery which displays their products well and allows serious customers to get what they want.. You will definitely find what you are looking for at a fair price. I have been buying from them for 4 years and every transaction is excellent.. If there are any issues they support them 100%. They are one of the most trustable sources for stone. Pros: Service & Selection more

  • About Opustone Opustone was founded in 2001 by Eric Schigiel, a young entrepreneur whose interest in stone evolved from his experience with his father’s high-end construction business. By sourcing the very best quality stones from around the world, it didn’t take long for Schigiel to quickly establish himself as one of the nation’s foremost experts on decorative and ornamental stone, and Opustone as one of the region’s most sought-after distributors. It’s easy to experience the difference when you visit an Opustone showroom today, where stone slabs are presented in a gallery-like setting, as if exhibiting nature’s most precious works of art.
