Worst

Work got done well, but 2 days later they came back with a bill that was 500 dollars MORE the the estimate! They showed up at my door twice demanding the extra payment. Called...

A black truck with this company's name cut off six cars who had been waiting for over TWO HOURS to get into the MN Renaissance Festival- when honked at, a lady in the passengers' seat hung herself out the window and started making gestures and cussing out the people behind them. I would never trust someone who treats everyone around them like less than dirt. more

Lawn damaged by Oleson's 5/16/2019

My lawn was damaged when Oleson's were working on my neighbor's trees. They had not asked permission to put a large piece of equipment on our lawn. The crew boss was flippant and disrespective when I requested the Company fix my lawn. Nothing was ever done and calls to the Company still go on answered. We are disgusted with their professionalism. more

These guys are the reason I finally put up a "No Soliciting" sign 11/26/2016

I wanted to give them a chance so badly!!!! Especially since I was stupid enough to pay in advance. I was in a hurry and they said the job would be done before I got home. They cashed my check within a half hour of my writing it and barely did any work at all. They came back the week after while it was dark and cut off a few more branches. Never checked in with me about whether I was satisfied with the hour max of work they did for $600. I had six large pieces of wood I paid extra for them to haul out, they left two of them. Still have branches hanging over my house that may come down during a storm. If you happen to want to give them a chance like I did, make absolutely sure you don't give them a cent until they've finished everything to your satisfaction, or you will regret it like I do. Door to door solicitors, never again--these people took the cake. more

Borderline Robbery 10/5/2016

Please do yourself a favor and find a reputable tree service. These people are criminals. My work did not get done, I paid in advance, I cannot get ahold of anyone. I ended up paying MORE than the quote even before work began and now I am screwed I guess. more

Excellent Work 8/15/2016

We've had Brian, Levi, Scott Mikey and crew here at our home in Lake Shore three different times now for massive jobs after 2 huge storms. These guys work hard and go the extra mile to clean things up. They were lifesavers. The last storm hit on early Thursday morning and we were going to have a family reunion on Sunday. They worked late and got as much done as quickly as possible so we could pull it off. Our place looked great! We had over 50 trees down! more

These are scary people 8/10/2016

We have had these tree service people trolling our neighborhood since a storm last week. I have gotten 2 flyers with different names out of the same truck! I have had to ask 2 different people to leave my property.I have had a wife range of estimates from 1500 to 5000 and I decided to go with the tree service my insurance recommended and I spent 900. This service is not reputable and their tactics are deceiving at best and extortion at worst. Save yourself some misery and call someone else! more

Not recommended 5/4/2016

It's now been close to a month since Oleson's came out and bid to grind my stumps. They did half the work the following day and won't come complete the job. They don't return calls. Worst thing is I prepaid. I'm considering filing a claim to recover my loss. Do not work with them. more

Review of Oleson's Tree Service at my residence 5/19/2015

Oleson's Tree Service was in my area in Eagan Minneasota. Saw the kind of work they were doing to neighbors trees and asked for a quote to do my Ash and Crab Apple trees. Quote was great they showed up next day 19th. Very professional and personnel crew. Took no breaks and got the job done better than I expected. Very Knowlegable about trees. The cleanup was awesome-never looked like they were there. My Wife came home and was very pleased. We will use Oleson's in the future if needed and would highly recommend to anyone. They do the job like they are working on their own yard. Their work ethic is so refreshing. more

I paid 650 to drop a limb near my house. They said they would do the work the same day. They never came. They will not answer my calls. It has been 3 weeks! DO not use! more

suspicious activity 4/13/2015

I was gone at work.I came home to find a guy walking around my yard looking in my Windows I asked what was he doing he represented himself as Chris from Olesons Tree Service I asked Chris why he was wandering around my yard looking in my Windows he would not give me a straight answer seemed really out of it I told him that he has put 7 flyers on my door in the last 2 weeks I do not want your service or you on my property please leave more

Hired them for the quoted price. Next day a truck load of them show up on my door to collect tax and an extra 100 dollars in "fees". I did not pay and coincidentally my mailbox was destroyed the same night. DO NOT USE more

they did work on my property that was not quoted, was not agreed to and did not have permission and had the audacity to send me a bill! It's in the Sheriff's hands now. Please beware!!!!! more

I should have Googled this company first. Work done but for 50% more than "quoted" on the paper work with no license number or address on it. Strong arm tactics to say the least. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! more

borderline extorsion 3/10/2013

these people are criminals. negotiated a price of 700 dollars for some tree work. I have an estimate in hand and yet the next day they come TO MY DOOR to collect 300 dollars more, 70 dollars in tax and 150 in "other charges"! Do not let them on your property! more

Outstanding work 12/3/2012

I just had Oleson's Tree Service clean up four large trees. I told them what I thought was needed, and they quoted a fair price. When the job was completed they had done what the trees needed, not what I thought they needed. What a difference and it required a lot more work than I originally requested. But they did it with a smile and cleaned up wonderfully. My yard and home look so much better. They went the extra mile in every aspect of the job. A great crew of hard working folks. more

please do not use oleson's tree service 8/14/2012

very friendly before the work was done, very hostile after the work was done. the price increased 300 dollars and 200 in tax increased from quote! they have still yet to come remove the stumps I paid for and it has been 2 weeks. please stay away. more
